Our community's open mic event attracts 100+ musicians and thousands of listeners each week. We provide a haven for creative expression and genuine connection. All are welcome. Every contributor can be proud of the fact we are building a live music movement, sharing songs with an international audience. Global harmony is our mission. World peace is our vision.
For the 70th week of Hive Open Mic, we will explore the following theme: "Immensity." This theme is selected by Spotlight Artist: @zorajr, who is a fantastically talented singer, guitarist, and percussionist, as well as being a pillar in our community. Everyone is encouraged to share the collective current as we express and connect through: Immensity
“Immensity”
This week's Hive Open Mic theme is: “Immensity.” This is a pressure-free invitation, encouraging us to explore new territory together as artists and share a common ground as a community. Musicians always have full freedom to bring whatever music feels inspired in the moment. Here's a timeline, for anyone wishing to look back, be present, or prepare future entries.
How To Play
1. Produce - Introduce your video by saying the words, “Hive Open Mic Week [1],” including your name. Perform a song.
2. Present - Post your video in the Hive Open Mic community. Include the tag #openmic.
3. Promote - Share your link in the comments section of Sunday's open mic invitation in order to ensure your entry is heard.
4. Prosper - Enjoy harmony with the Hive community by engaging with musicians and music fans through upvotes and uplifting comments.

Muchas gracias por sus halagos pero me siento muy triste. Veo con tanta emoción la aceptación de tanta gente participando con canciones que no tienen nada que ver con el tema y tienen una inmensa aceptación por sus interpretaciones. Lo manifiesto muy celosamente porque no ha sido la primera vez. Estoy haciendo todo el esfuerzo de de presentar mis creaciones inéditas algo que no es fácil, eso en que me esfuerzo para demostrar mis capacidades y no hallo la manera de encontrar que me valoren mi trabajo y lo que encuentro son halagos y halagos y nada de reconocer en valor lo que espero. No lo saben pero soy una persona bastante necesitada no lo demuestro pero llegó la hora de decirlo. Tengo una familia a quien mantener. Soy venezolano y creo que mi esfuerzo merece respeto y criterio para valorar lo que hago. Basta de halagos, quiero que me ayuden. Tengo casi un mes sin percibir ayuda. I see with so much emotion the acceptance of so many people participating with songs that have nothing to do with the theme and have an immense acceptance for their interpretations. I am very jealous because it has not been the first time. I am making all the effort to present my unpublished creations something that is not easy, that in which I strive to demonstrate my abilities and I do not find the way to find that I value my work and what I find are compliments and flattery and nothing to recognize in value what I expect. They don't know it but I am a very needy person and I don't show it but the time has come to say it. I have a family to support. I am Venezuelan and I believe that my effort deserves respect and criteria to value what I do. Enough of flattery, I want you to help me. I have not received any help for almost a month. I am in need. Thank you for your flattery. I may not be among you anymore and thank you very much. Support whoever you want, I respect that, but do not flatter me if you are not going to help me.
