HIVE Open Mic 67 "Contemplation"

Hello my people HIVE
It is an immense pleasure for me to share in this HIVE Platform, and especially in this Global Hive Open Mic Community, this version of the Venezuelan Waltz "Contemplación" by René Rojas Lucambio. I vaguely remembered this beautiful song in my childhood days, always sung by Dr. Jesús Sevillano who was the first to record it in 1969 on his first album entitled "Venezuelan Songs" which was released by the "Polydor" Record Label. Here is my version for my entry in week 67 of this Contest. I just hope you like it.
Es un inmenso placer para mí compartir en esta Plataforma HIVE, y especialmente en esta Comunidad Global Hive Open Mic, esta versión del Vals venezolano "Contemplación" de René Rojas Lucambio. Esta bella canción la recordaba, vagamente, en mis días de infancia cantada siempre por el Dr. Jesús Sevillano quien fuera el primero en grabarla en el año 1969 en su primer disco titulado "Canciones Venezolanas" que fue editado por el Sello Discográfico "Polydor". Aquí les dejo mi versión para mi entada en la semana 67 de este Concurso. Solo espero que sea del agrado de ustedes.
Contemplación
El sol detuvo su luz
en tu frente de limpio arenal
tatuando su ardor.
Contemplativo estaba viendo
las olas pasar,
la arena de la playa
y tu cuerpo mecer,
desafiante el mar.
Tu pelo de hojarasca
hacía la brisa rabiar,
rodando el arenal
tu velo de aserrín,
tu cuerpo cual gaviota al mar
me cautivó,
cuando tu mirada
sin querer me vio.

I want to thank the Hive Platform and, in the same way, the Global Hive Open Mic Community for this opportunity they give us to celebrate live music and thus contribute to global harmony and world peace. And following this week's orientation, the invitation is for each of us to contemplate and observe our own reality, in a careful, serene, attentive and profound way to value it in all its dimensions. Contemplating is cultivating tolerance and even taking pleasure in boredom. It is also about knowing how to wait, appreciate and ingratiate ourselves with the stillness of the nature of human life and find its meaning. Contemplation should take us beyond our common ways of thinking into new realms of human understanding. Let's walk towards a better life. Thank God that music inspires us with the life we want to live ... our own life, which is worth contemplating.
Quiero agradecer a la Plataforma Hive y, del mismo modo, a la Comunidad Global Hive Open Mic por esta oportunidad que nos brindan para celebrar la música en vivo y contribuir, así, a la armonía global y a la paz del mundo. Y siguiendo la orientación de esta semana, la invitación es a que, cada uno de nosotros contemplemos y observemos nuestra propia realidad, de manera detenida, serena, atenta y profunda para valorarla en todas sus dimensiones. Contemplar es cultivar la tolerancia e incluso tener placer ante el aburrimiento. También se trata de saber esperar, valorar y congraciarnos con la quietud de la naturaleza de la vida humana y hallar su significado. La contemplación nos debe llevar más allá de nuestros modos de pensamientos comunes hacia nuevos ámbitos de la comprensión humana. Caminemos hacia una mejor vida. Gracias a Dios porque la música nos inspira la vida que queremos vivir... nuestra propia vida, la que vale la pena contemplar.
