"Romantic Nostalgia" ... I must confess that I really traveled to the past, so I will tell you a brief story:
In my last years of university studying Psychology, I met a very beautiful girl; while studying I promised myself not to have a love relationship since I wanted to dedicate my attention completely to my studies, but she changed everything, she made me feel love in its maximum expression. I am very romantic, so much so that I dreamed about her and something that I always loved about her was her smile, she laughed at any silly thing I said.
She lived a little far from where I lived, but the great thing was that I had some of her relatives as neighbors, which meant that we could see each other from time to time. We shared a lot since her cousins were musicians and I was always going to listen to them rehearse, which allowed us to get closer and closer...
With a lot of fear and a lump in my throat I told her that I liked her, she just smiled and left me with the doubt hahahaha; that same day when we said goodbye after spending an afternoon together and with her cousins, we went to my house, I invited her to eat something, she told me that there was no problem. When she was about to leave, I thought: this is my chance, I took her hand, I brought her closer to me and kissed her; it was a kiss that made me vibrate in time and space, the truth is that after the kiss, she looked at me, smiled and went home ... yes I know, it seems like a novel, but it really happened to me hahahaha.
From that moment when she left, my anxiety skyrocketed; I couldn't stop thinking about her, and I took my cell phone and wrote to her. Without any lie I wrote her a very long message, at the end I asked her if she wanted to be my girlfriend, she calls me on the phone and tells me: regarding your question tomorrow I will go to your house and I will answer it, to which I was in shock.
That was the longest day of my life, to tell you that I did not sleep and from that long wait was born this song that I am going to interpret today, which is called "Mi Diosa y Tu Ángel Guardián" (My Goddess and Your Guardian Angel). This song was a prophecy because the next day I got the answer I was waiting for, that is, a yes.
The truth is that she was my 1st formal girlfriend, the one who inspired many of my own songs, with whom I lived a valuable stage of my life and who made me redefine love. We both wanted to get married, but things happened during the relationship that made us take different paths, it was the best thing at the time, and thanks to that I am who I am today. After several years we became great friends, but we did not want to go back to the past because our futures were going to separate us again, we both took different paths out of our country.
Having told you what was supposed to be brief, here is my presentation for week 81 of the Hive open Mic, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did... if you are wondering if she listened to the song... yes, she did...

“Nostalgia Romántica” ... Debo confesar que realmente viajé al pasado, así que les contaré una breve historia:
En mis últimos años de universidad estudiando Psicología, conocí a una chica muy hermosa; mientras estudié me prometí a mi mismo no tener una relación amorosa ya que quería dedicar mi atención por completo a mis estudios, pero ella lo cambió todo, me hizo sentir el amor en su máxima expresión. Yo de por sí, soy muy romántico, tanto así que soñaba con ella y algo que siempre me encantó de ella fue su sonrisa ya que se reía de cualquier tontería que yo decía.
Ella vivía un poco lejos de donde yo vivía, pero lo genial era que yo tenía a unos familiares suyos como vecinos, lo que hacía que nos pudiéramos ver de vez en cuando. Compartimos mucho ya que sus primos eran músicos y yo siempre iba a escucharlos ensayar, eso permitía que nuestro acercamiento fuera más y más serio…
Con mucho miedo y un nudo en la garganta le dije que me gustaba, ella solo sonrió y me dejó con la duda jajajaja; ese mismo día al despedirnos luego de haber pasado una tarde juntos y con sus primos, fuimos a mi casa, la invité a comer algo, me dijo que no había problema. Ya cuando se iba a ir, pensé: ¡esta es mi oportunidad!, le tomé la mano, la acerqué a mi y la besé; fue un beso que me hizo vibrar en tiempo y espacio, lo cierto, es que luego del beso, me miró, sonrió y se fue a su casa… si lo sé, parece una novela, pero me pasó realmente jajajaja.
Desde ese momento en que se fue, mi ansiedad se disparó por los aires; no dejaba de pensar en ella, y tomé mi teléfono celular y le escribí. Sin mentira alguna le escribí un mensaje larguísimo, al final le coloqué que si quería ser mi novia, ella me llama al teléfono y me dice: con respecto a tu pregunta mañana voy a tu casa y te la contesto, a lo que yo quedé en shock.
Ese fue el día más largo de mi vida, con decirles que no dormí y de esa larga espera nació esta canción que les voy a interpretar hoy, que se llama “Mi Diosa y Tu Ángel Guardián”. Esta canción fue una profecía ya que al día siguiente obtuve la respuesta que esperaba, es decir, un sí.
Lo cierto es que ella fue mi 1era novia formal, la que inspiró muchas de mis canciones propias, con quien viví una etapa valiosa de mi vida y que me hizo redefinir el amor. Ambos nos queríamos casar, pero pasaron cosas durante la relación que hicieron que tomáramos diferentes caminos, fue lo mejor en el momento, y gracias a ello soy quien soy hoy. Al pasar de varios años logramos ser grandes amigos, pero no quisimos retomar el pasado ya que nuestros futuros nos iban a separar nuevamente, ambos tomamos rumbos distintos fuera de nuestro país.
Ya habiéndoles contado, lo que se suponía sería breve, acá les dejo mi presentación para la semana 81 del Hive open Mic, espero la disfruten tanto como yo… si se preguntan si ella escuchó la canción pues… sí, si la escuchó…
Gracias por el apoyo que me brindan semana a semana en esta comunidad, que ya es de hecho, como mi 2do hogar.

Muchas gracias Jesús, pues si amigo querido no se olvida jeje, y es un aprendizaje tan valioso que recordarlo no más, llena de vida, forma parte de nuestros procesos y sencillamente debemos aceptarlos, asimilarlos y decidir si sufrir o vivir, obviamente elegí vivir a pesar de que fue doloroso como cualquier desapego. Esta canción la escribí en un día imagínate jajaja, así era el nivel de ansiedad que lo utilicé a mi favor. Estoy consciente que debo mejorarle muchos detalles empezando por la voz, es que pensé que no volvería a tocarla más porque la tenía guardada por así decirlo, pero tengo muchas más que iré trayendo poco a poco.
