Candelaria es un hermoso vals compuesto por el gran compositor venezolano nacido en el estado Yaracuy, Otilio Galíndez (1935 - 2009)

Varios de los más hermosos temas de música venezolana fueron compuestos por Otilio e interpretados por Simón Díaz, Lilia Vera, Soledad Bravo, Morella Muñoz, Jesús Sevillano, Cecilia Todd, Ilan Chester, Mercedes Sosa, Pablo Milanés,entre otros, así como muchas de las corales del país.
Algunas de sus composiciones son "Caramba", "Pueblos tristes", "Son chispitas", "Ahora", "Luna decembrina", "Mi tripón", "En silencio", "Flor de mayo".

Sus canciones son de una gran belleza poética y musical.
