Global harmony is our mission. World peace is our vision. Our community's weekly open mic event attracts enthusiastic musicians and listeners. Our virtual song circle reaches globally, while upholding the classic pattern of a traditional open mic event. At the end of each week, we celebrate the music with a Community Concert.
Everyone is welcome here in our haven for expression and connection. We welcome music fans and casual listeners, while holding space for musicians of every style and any skill level. Here, music lovers build real relationships worldwide. Every contributor can be proud of the fact we are building a more harmonious world by sharing our enjoyment of music.
For the 123rd week of Hive Open Mic, we will explore the following theme: "A Better World for All." This theme is chosen by the recent Spotlight Artist @daniky, who is an excellent musician and a dear friend to the Hive Open Mic community. Everyone is encouraged to share the collective current as we express and connect through: Lindas Palabras.
“A Better World for All”
This week's Hive Open Mic theme is: “A Better World for All.” This is a pressure-free invitation, encouraging us to explore new territory together as artists, sharing common ground as a community. Musicians always have full freedom to bring whatever music feels inspired in the moment. Here's a timeline, for anyone wishing to look back, be present, or prepare future entries.
How To Play
1. Produce - Introduce your video by saying the words, “Hive Open Mic Week [1],” including your name. Perform a song.
2. Present - Post your video in the Hive Open Mic community. Include the tag #openmic.
3. Promote - Share your link in the comments section of Sunday's open mic invitation in order to ensure your entry is heard.
4. Prosper - Build relationships by engaging with fellow music lovers through uplifting comments.

Show support by engaging with the musicians. The greatest gift we can give to an artist is our attention. For this reason, we humbly ask that everyone offer some friendly words. Reward musicians by offering applause as if we're in a pub, a coffee shop, or concert hall. Our comments might be the vital voice that gives a musician the wings to fly, or the gills to dive deep!

Hello friends, this is my participation in this week's event in which we are united by the theme "A Better World For All", suggested by our recent featured artist @daniky. The song "Que Canten Los Niños" (Let Children Sing) is originally performed by the Spanish singer, producer, author and composer Jose Luis Perales.In this song are children who, with sometimes poetic phrases, point out those key points that we must change in order to have a better world for everyone equally. It is a sweet but true denunciation. Let's listen to them, they have the right to inherit a better world.

Y claro que sí, estaré más seguido por acá, realmente yo estuve mucho tiempo sin publicar, desde que me mudé a Brasil a sido un poco difícil porque vivimos en un apartamento pequeño y todo se escucha, los niños, los vecinos jajaja (todo) entonces he buscado unas horas adecuadas pero es casi imposible, por eso a veces termino publicando tarde 😭.
Pero es lindo cuando personas como tú dejan tan buenos comentarios, y no se trata de que digan que todo está bien, sino de valor el esfuerzo y dar esas recomendaciones que te ayudan a mejorar.

Lo soy cuando me inspiran 😁 pero digamos que no me dedico a eso, si tengo sangre de poeta, no soy familiar de Mario Benedetti (muchos lo creen) pero mi bisabuelo paterno fue un poeta reconocido aquí en Colombia, yo soy Psicólogo de profesión y los 15 años que llevo de ejercicio me han hecho mejorar y reforzar un buen verbo para poder expresarme libremente y con precisión, le doy gracias a Dios por ello sin duda alguna 🙌😀💛!!!
Oye Katerin y te entiendo, hace poco me mudé de un apartamento donde grababa feliz de la vida a cualquier hora, pero ahora debo medirme en ello y buscar los momentos justos para grabar, básicamente porque estamos en avenida y se escuchan los carros, el perro, el gato, la guacharaca jajajajaja ha sido chistoso por un lado,por otro un poco trabajoso, pero ya me estoy adaptando y he adaptado mi lugar de grabación para evitar esa bulla externa!!!
Muchísimas gracias por tus palabras, es bonito cuando valoran también que uno se extienda, pero realmente es porque disfruto de ello y me gusta valorar bien lo que veo y escucho; la música me hace conectar con todos a un nivel superior y más porque todos queremos que nos vaya bien aquí y luchamos por lo mismo, lo merecemos y espero de todo corazón que pelo a pelo puedas publicar más seguido para que te vaya más chévere aún, porque eres genial 🌹!!!

Hola, comunidad, felicito a nuestro artista destacado @daniky por la temática propuesta. Realmente, nos quejamos de cómo está el mundo y no podemos culpar a los marcianos, los selenitas o los venusinos por habérnoslo dañado ya que somos nosotros sus únicos inquilinos. El mundo es lo que hemos hecho de él... Pero si tenemos la capacidad de dañar, también la tenemos para arreglar, ordenar, reconstruir, mejorar... Basta con un poquito de buena voluntad de parte de cada uno. Si nos unimos para el bien podremos entre todos lograr tener y mantener ese mundo mejor que tanto necesitamos. Creo que vamos a poder escuchar muchas canciones interesantes esta semana. Éxito para todos.
Hello community, congratulations to our Spotlight Artist @daniky for the proposed theme. Actually, we complain about how the world is and we cannot blame the Martians, the Selenites or the Venusians for having damaged it for us since we are its only tenants. The world is what we have made of it... But if we have the ability to harm, we also have the ability to fix, order, rebuild, improve... All it takes is a little goodwill on the part of each one. If we unite for good, we can all achieve and maintain that better world that we so much need. I think we will be able to listen to many interesting songs this week. Success for all.
