Global harmony is our mission. World peace is our vision. Our community's weekly open mic event attracts enthusiastic musicians and listeners. Our virtual song circle reaches globally, while upholding the classic pattern of a traditional open mic event. At the end of each week, we celebrate the music with a Community Concert.
Everyone is welcome here in our haven for expression and connection. We welcome music fans and casual listeners, while holding space for musicians of every style and any skill level. Here, music lovers build real relationships worldwide. Every contributor can be proud of the fact we are building a more harmonious world by sharing our enjoyment of music.
For the 128th week of Hive Open Mic, we will explore the following theme: "Desamor." In English, this means: "Heartbreak." This theme is selected by our recent Spotlight Artist: @yosoyla72. Everyone is encouraged to share the collective current as we express and connect through: Desamor.
“Desamor”
This week's Hive Open Mic theme is: “Desamor.” This is a pressure-free invitation, encouraging us to explore new territory together as artists, sharing common ground as a community. Musicians always have full freedom to bring whatever music feels inspired in the moment. Here's a timeline, for anyone wishing to look back, be present, or prepare future entries.
How To Play
1. Produce - Introduce your video by saying the words, “Hive Open Mic Week [1],” including your name. Perform a song.
2. Present - Post your video in the Hive Open Mic community. Include the tag #openmic.
3. Promote - Share your link in the comments section of Sunday's open mic invitation in order to ensure your entry is heard.
4. Prosper - Build relationships by engaging with fellow music lovers through uplifting comments.

Show support by engaging with the musicians. The greatest gift we can give to an artist is our attention. For this reason, we humbly ask that everyone offer some friendly words. Reward musicians by offering applause as if we're in a pub, a coffee shop, or concert hall. Our comments might be the vital voice that gives a musician the wings to fly, or the gills to dive deep!

¡¡Hola familia de Hive Open Mic!! El desamor y el despecho están estrechamente relacionados. Cuando una de las partes involucradas demuestra por medio de acciones su falta de querer… la otra lo percibe y siente resentimiento por ello.🙃
No se puede obligar a nadie a sentir amor... Si esa persona no te quiere a su lado, piensa que vales demasiado como para estar suplicando amor a quien no te lo quiere dar.😌

You can't force anyone to feel love... If that person doesn't want you by his side, he thinks you're worth too much to be begging for love from someone who doesn't want to give it to you.😌

Muy interesante la temática de esta semana propuesta por @yosoyla72. El desamor toma múltiples formas y múltiple ha sido la manera de enfocarlo desde todos los géneros musicales. Creo que esta temática permitirá un intercambio de canciones muy conocidas con otras que probablemente no lo sean tanto. Estaré participando, Dios mediante.

Hi, community, I tell you that since I saw the theme selected for our recent Sotlight Artist @yosoyla72, I started my research... not to select a song... I already knew which one I wanted but... I didn't know its title, nor the name of the performer. I only remembered a line that said "the streets are not the same".
As this song is closely linked to a personal experience, I wanted to sing it this time. And...I managed to find it...from that one sentence.It is "Fantasía Herida" (Wounded Fantasy) , a song performed by Erick Franchesky.

Hello, my Hive Open Mic community, this week 128 I share with you a song by Milena Benites: "Lágrimas de Mujer" (Woman Tears) , which is very much in tune with the theme proposed by @yosoyla72: Heartbreak. In this case, a lady sings who left her studies out of love, moved away from her relatives... I imagine they told her "That man is no use to you" and, for defending him, she alienated everyone. He didn't value her, he cheated on her and then he left her.
