Global harmony is our mission. World peace is our vision. Our community's weekly live music celebration reaches musicians and listeners globally on a virtual stage, upholding the classic pattern of an open mic event. At the end of each week, we enjoy a community concert, highlighting a Spotlight Artist.
Our song circle is a place of belonging for anyone who appreciates live music. Our creative space offers a chance to build real relationships worldwide between music fans and musicians of every style and any skill level. Every contributor can be proud of the fact we are co-creating a more harmonious world by sharing the joys of music.
For the 138th week of Hive Open Mic, we will explore the following theme: "Magic." This theme is chosen by our community's recent Spotlight Artist: @zullyscott. Everyone is encouraged to express and connect through: Magic.
“Magic”
This week's Hive Open Mic theme is: “Magic.” This is a pressure-free invitation, encouraging us to explore new territory together as artists, sharing common ground as a community. Musicians always have full freedom to bring whatever music feels inspired in the moment. Here's a timeline, for anyone wishing to look back, be present, or prepare future entries.
How To Play
1. Produce - Introduce your video by saying the words, “Hive Open Mic Week 138,” including your name. Perform a song.
2. Present - Post your video in the Hive Open Mic community. Include the tag #openmic.
3. Promote - Share your link in the comments section of Sunday's open mic invitation in order to ensure your entry is heard.
4. Prosper - Build relationships by engaging with fellow music lovers through uplifting comments.

Requests
Show support by engaging with the musicians. The greatest gift we can give to an artist is our attention. For this reason, we humbly ask that everyone offer some friendly words. Reward musicians by offering applause as if we're in a pub, a coffee shop, or concert hall. Our comments might be the vital voice that gives a musician the wings to fly, or the gills to dive deep!

Hello dear Hive Open Mic community, in tune with the theme "Magic", proposed by our recent Featured Artist @zullyscott, I bring you the song "Magia Blanca". I took it out of the "trunk of memories", in fact, it is the first song that I remember I liked to sing, when I was around 4 or 5 years old.
This song became fashionable here in Venezuela in the '60s, in the voice of Los Hermanos Carrión (Carrion Brothers) . This song talks about that special magic (the strongest in the world) that we call "love". Of its spell and its bewitchment.

Dear colleagues of Hive Open Mic, we have reached week 138 of this great event with the theme "Magic" (Magic) proposed by our recent Spotlight Artist @zullyscott. For this reason, in the company of my friends from the Musical Group "Venezuelan Power" (Name devised by @fernanblog) we bring you a Christmas song in which magic is mentioned. It is original by the composer Alex Toby (+), uncle of @sayury. Being that we are so close to Christmas and there were wizards who came to the manger to adore the Child, it seemed very appropriate that we interpret this song that I hope you like.

Hello community of music lovers. We arrive at week 138 with a suggestive theme: "Magic", proposed by our recent Spotlight Artist @zullyscott. For this reason, I will participate with the song "I'm Dreaming" by the group Abba super successful Swedish Pop music group that in the 70's filled Europe and America with her voice and their magic
One of the phrases of this song is "If you live the magic of fairies that they do well..." and little by little and in a very melodic way he walks us through the idea that imagination, fantasy and magic are positive elements that they can lead us to stay happier now and more hopeful for the future. It is a beautiful song that we hope will be to your liking.

Hello my dearest Hive Open Mic community, our recent featured artist @zullycott has made this week 138 full of magic, fantasy and spells. That's the theme of the week: "Magic". I bring you the song "Yo Vendo Unos Ojos Negros" (I Sell Some Black Eyes), and I sell them... well, for sorcerers. This song has been covered by many different vocalists and groups, I particularly recommend the version by Marco Antonio Solís.
For my part, I added a verse of my own inspiration, it is with which we close this magical song that we hope you like:
