Hello everyone, this is a beautiful time to sing this beautiful song. I ve been looking forward to when it will be that I ll have such an opportunity to sing this and I'm glad that this present a good opportunity for me to.

The theme for this week is WORK O TRUE LOVE As suggested by @donirosayandi, a great musician.

Having to be loved and having to love all that is one of the core ingredients of a good life.
Anyone who doesn't have one or both cannot be said to be having a good life at all.
If we must live and let live then we must love and let herself to be loved as well.

This theme is coming at a time when the matter of love needs to be properly addressed. The work of love or as I see it the labour of Love.
Love requires labour and sacrifice before we can begin to see the fruits that come out of it. Just like every other thing in life what you sow is what you reap. Seed time and harvest time does not fail. If I commit myself to something then I have to do it and if I truly want to see the proceeds of that thing then I have to bear the burden while I must. A lot of people want to enjoy love without really putting in the work. But that will only amount unto infatuation and lost the product of which is often heartbreaks and like we call it here in Nigeria "breakfast".

I have seen that when you put in the work for love it's turns seeds into fruits of love and that one's gotten is truly enjoyable and lasts forever.

In my song today I'm doing a piece by Johnny drille which is titled how are you my friend. I have previously done a piece of this and other community and this time I'm doing a full cover song.

How are you my friend is one of the trending songs on charts in Nigeria today and it speaks of one good friend checking up on another not for lust all enthusiasm of infatuation but for I'm filling needs and paying the sacrifice of friendship.

A common saying that a friend in need is a friend indeed, which I understand to mean that difference in the time when you are in need that is a friend who is a friend indeed.

Some friends don't check up on you until they have a need and then they remember that you are their friend because you are fulfilling their need. They're mostly called Friends with benefits. This is what I see most relationships today as. Friendship for s6x, friendship for money, or friendship for security. All of this is not love it is just trade. Something for another thing. And both parties are being satisfied.
Love is not for satisfaction love is primarily for sacrifice.

Here to lyrics of the song

I know sometimes e be like say nobody send you
That one na lie, I dey for you, my friend
Padi no vex for me
Say I never call you since
But I hope that you are well
I hope your market sell
Every day, I dey pray for you
Make Baba God bless you
I never forget you
How I go forget you?
See my shoulder, make you rest upon me
You know I got you, na me be your friend indeed
The money don show now, I don keep some for you
You no go suffer rara
'Cause anything I get na for me and you, yeah
How are you, my friend?
How do you do, my friend?
I know sometimes e be like say nobody send you
That one na lie, I dey for you my friend
How are you, my friend?
How do you do, my friend?
I know sometimes e be like say nobody send you
That one na lie, I dey for you my friend
Ọ'rẹ' mí àtàtà
You always dey my mind
Padi mí gan, gan, gan
I cherish you with my life
No worry yourself o
Everything go dey alright
And if anybody try you
You know it's gon' be on sight
See my shoulder, make you rest upon me
You know I got you, na me be your friend indeed
Omo, the money don show now, I don keep some for you
You no go suffer, rara
'Cause anything I get na for me and you, yeah
How are you, my friend? (I see you, my brother)
How do you do, my friend? (I see you, my sister)
I know sometimes e be like say nobody send you
That one na lie, I dey for you my friend (my friend, it's been so long)
How are you, my friend? (It's been so long)
How do you do, my friend?
I know sometimes e be like say nobody send you
That one na lie (no be lie o), I dey for you my friend
I know sometimes e be like say nobody send you
That one na lie, I dey for you my friend
I know that I don't call enough
But you are always on my mind, oh
I dey for you my friend

How are you my friend.

Padi no me molesta
Di que nunca te llamo desde
pero espero que estes bien
Espero que su mercado venda
Todos los días, rezo por ti
Haz que Baba Dios te bendiga
nunca te olvido
¿Cómo voy a olvidarte?
No vas a sufrir rara
No te preocupes oh
No vas a sufrir, rara

I love this rendition of the song.
This song makes me so emotional because we are used to songs that only portray romantic love. But this one reminds us that the love we give in and receive from a friendship is of significant value too.
And it's very easy for us to forget that or forget to appreciate our friends.
The people that rejoice with us on our good days and lament with us on our bad days.
The people that carry our matter on their head for us and see to it that our problems are sorted out as best as is possible.
Some friends are irreplaceable and pure gems.

Thank you for reminding us of that.
Your voice is spectacular and your composure is just wonderful.
You inspire me.
I appreciate that we have people like you to look up to! Keep doing what you do.
