Esta semana me emocionó demasiado y debo admitir que en esta ocasión no sabía bien qué canción elegir porque soy súper amante del pop rock, el rock alternativo y algunos pocos algo pesados.

Justo cuando me debstía entre el álbum 11 Razones de Aitana y Lost On You de LP recordé la primera razón por la que me animé a hacer covers... Esa razón es la canción que hoy les quiero ofrecer, Couting Stars de One Republic.

This week I was too excited and I must admit that this time I didn't quite know which song to choose because I'm a super lover of pop rock, alternative rock and a few somewhat heavy ones.

Just when I was deciding between the album 11 Razones by Aitana and Lost On You by LP I remembered the first reason why I decided to do covers.... That reason is the song I want to offer you today, Couting Stars by One Republic.

Esta es una canción que marcó el inicio de mi adolescencia cuando apenas empezaba a tomarle gusto a escuchar música comercial, y en ese momento escuché esta canción que empecé a escribir y armonizar en ese preciso instante. Lamentablemente la computadora donde lo hice en aquel entonces ya expiró. Pero esa canción nunca salió de mí y es por eso que me llena de ilusión que ustedes puedan apreciarla.

El tema de esta canción - según me parece - es que pasamos mucho tiempo prestando atención a lo menos importante y damos por sentado lo que siempre vemos. Las personas, las maravillas que nos persiguen fingiendo ser pequeñas en la naturaleza, esto y más. Son cosas que siempre vemos pero qué pasaría si nos llegan a faltar, cómo en la letra de esta canción?

This is a song that marked the beginning of my adolescence when I was just starting to like to listen to commercial music, and at that moment I heard this song that I started to write and harmonize at that precise moment. Unfortunately the computer where I did it at that time has already expired. But that song never left me and that's why I'm so excited that you can appreciate it.

The theme of this song - it seems to me - is that we spend so much time paying attention to the less important and take for granted what we always see. The people, the wonders that chase us pretending to be small in nature, this and more. These are things we always see but what would happen if we were to miss them, as in the lyrics of this song?

Por otro lado, debo admitir que pensé que esta temática había sido escogida por nuestro querido curador @fernanblog, pero agradezco inmensamente a @maitt87 por haber escogido este gran tema que en verdad me ha hecho muy feliz... 🥰

En esta ocasión volví a grabar con un Alcatel, pero como pueden ver cambié de editor al programa InShot, el cual me parece sumamente útil y muy bien programado, la edición del vídeo estuvo un poco ruda, pero espero que aún con los detalles que pueda haber (no soy profesional en esto, solo improviso) les pueda gustar la música que es lo más importante en todo esto.
