Blessed I meet friends of #HIVEOPENMIC, with you @lasembradora. In week number 75, our colleague @reinamalinda, called us to pay tribute to the "Worthy Maturity", that which today has broken all the old schemes, of the cornered, sad, silent and hopeless grandfather, a contemporary avant-garde adult , innovating,
creating, motivating their families through example to study and progress.

This time I am going to interpret you an old tango from the pen of the composer Agustín Magaldi, an Argentinean of Italian parents. In this musical work, we are left with a cruel, but true reflection, of situations that are still valid in these times, This song is titled "CONSEJO DE ORO", which has been interpreted by infinite artistic singing, in its original form of tango, as with new arrangements in other genres, especially boleros and salsa. Thankful to my brother-in-law Javier Beltrán for his support by accompanying me with the guitar, I hope you like it, God bless you.

Y quiero estar alegre junto, junto a mi madrecita

I was a little boy when my old man died
The misery was so great that my old lady and I
We ate the bitter and hard bread crying
That in hours of misery my hand begged

My poor old lady washing someone else's clothes
She broke her spine at the foot of the jar
For miserable coins with which pain calms
The cruel bitterness of our situation

I was growing up to the bartola and in my youthful years
I took the way that seemed best to me
I covet myself with milongueras, I embrace copetines
And the best of my friends when he could he sold me
From being conceited, I pretended to be handsome and they caught me behind bars
And as a prisoner not a friend has come to visit me
Just the haggard and adored face of my old woman
He flattened himself against the bars so he could kiss me.

For that reason, companions, with so many disappointments
No one convinces me with friendship phrases
Today I live with my mother, I want to sweeten her years
And I want to make her noble old age happy.

And I want to be happy together, with my little mother
What is the best love that the heart has
That is a love that nobody takes away from me
Honey that does not cheat or know of treason.

To you friend who is so young I will give you a golden advice
Leave parties and milongas, which will never weigh you down
Take good care of his old lady, the mother is a treasure
A treasure that when someone else loses it will not find
And do not do like those who are spent on pleasures
And they forget their mother or contemplate their pain
That they kill her reluctantly and then when she dies
They repent and mourn her, and they understand the value of her.

Gracias.

Tremendous song. Your singing is high and full of life, and your brother's guitar accompanies you nicely. In my interpretation, this is a message about valuing and cherishing our loved ones. It's a reminder that life is delicate, changing, and fleeting, and so we must do our best to honor our elders and family members while they are with us. This message is well-timed, and very much appreciated here. Thank you.
