Esta semana les interpretare un Vals cumanés, popularizado por " El Quinteto Contrapunto" esta agrupación fue un quinteto vocal venezolano, el cual estuvo conformado por las voces de: soprano, mezzosoprano, tenor, barítono y bajo. Sus integrantes fueron: Aída Navarro, Morella Muñoz y Otilia Rodríguez(mezzo-sopranos), Jesús Sevillano (tenor), Rafael Suárez (barítono, director, arreglista e intérprete del cuatro venezolano) y Domingo Mendoza (bajo). Se formó en 1962 y desapareció en 1971 con la muerte de su fundador, director y arreglista, el músico margariteño Rafael Suárez.
Puedo agregar que este grupo me marco de una manera musical. La canción que les interpretare lleva por titulo "Alba" para la misma tuve el acompañamiento de mi cómplice en el canto, mi hermana @dealtokilate, fue un placer para nosotros realizar este trabajo, espero que lo disfruten y sea del agrado de todos.
