Esta canción fue dedicada a la memoria del padre Óscar Arnulfo Romero Galdámez quién nació el 15 de agosto de 1917 en Ciudad Barrios, municipio del departamento de San Miguel, en la República de El Salvador. Fue un sacerdote católico, cuarto arzobispo metropolitano de San Salvador (1977-1980), y una persona célebre por su prédica en defensa de los derechos humanos.
This song was dedicated to the memory of Father Óscar Arnulfo Romero Galdámez who was born on August 15, 1917 in Ciudad Barrios, a municipality in the department of San Miguel, in the Republic of El Salvador. He was a Catholic priest, fourth Metropolitan Archbishop of San Salvador (1977-1980), and a person famous for his preaching in defense of human rights.
