Hi everybody! For this Hive #openmic the theme "to be reborn", transports me to India where I lived for sometime and reborned as @palimanali. At somepoint of the journey I met this song and got hit by it.
Wikipedia says about it:
"With origins dating back 600 years,"Dama Dam Mast Qalandar" is a popular traditional Sufi Islamic folk song across the northern Indian subcontinent as well as Iran.Various renditions of the song have been composed and performed by numerous composers and singers."
Runa Layla from #Bangladesh inspired my version. I listened to her more than a hundred times in a week to learn by fonetics, and started singing it.
I also play my little original part I recorded with a Rajasthani quartet in the city of Jaisalmer near the border with #Pakistan. Back then I played my part on the ukulele and they replied with the dominant in the little air-piano, and this represented the dialoge between East and West for a publicity spot.

¡Hola a todos! Para este Hive #openmic el tema "renacer", me transporta a la India donde viví un tiempo y renací como @palimanali. En algún momento del viaje conocí esta canción y me golpeó fuerte!

Solo por curiosidad, en principio has acelerado el video aposta o solo ha pasado algo, que hablas más rápido y agudo?
El video lo aceleré, lo hago amenudo cuando hablo mucho jeje. Y es gracioso. Lo de llevar el piano .. Jeje.. Yo achiqué de la guitarra al uke por esa razón y sacrifiqué dos octavas para ir mas liviano. Con el piano esta mas dificil!
