Hello beautiful Hive music community! We are in week 129 of the event that brings together the global community for harmony and world peace through music: the Hive Open Mic.
Thanks to @hiveopenmic, @cabelindsay for bringing us this cool initiative that unites musicians from all over the world every week and to @ocd for supporting this beautiful community.
I loved this week's theme proposed by @ruthlopez, "Trust". Just from reading it, I immediately knew the song I would choose to perform.
Trust is a quality of the soul, I would say it's like Faith.
Many times we walk through valleys of uncertainty, we don't know which direction to take or how to solve a situation that worries us.
We have two options: focus on the problem or focus our gaze on God, the divinity.
Easier said than done, but I believe that trust is exercised like a muscle and the more you use it the more you see the almost miraculous results.
It took me a long time to get here. Basically my upbringing was bombarded with a lot of imaginary fears, a lot of overprotection that instead of helping me, triggered an anxiety disorder later on when I became an adult.
And so I lived for a long time in fear and uncertainty until I had a spiritual awakening. I reached a point where I said I deserve to live better, I deserve to be happy and that's when I began my spiritual journey in which I continue to learn every day.
I believe that having a Christian church across the street from my house where they continually give services on faith with testimony, has helped me a lot to exercise that muscle.
And as I let go of control and leave everything in God's hands, he runs the situations in a perfect way, because he makes everything perfect.
That doesn't mean that I just sit back and watch everything magically work out, although sometimes it does.
Part of Faith is taking inspired action and seizing opportunities along the way to achieve the goal. It is 70% from heaven and 30% from us.
The song I chose to perform this week is called "Way Maker" and it talks about a powerful, miraculous God who opens the roads for us even though we cannot see them at the moment, but we feel his presence and we put our trust in him knowing that he is working for us.

¡Hola hermosa comunidad musical de Hive! Estamos en la semana 129 del evento que reúne a la comunidad global para la armonía y la paz mundial a través de la música: el Hive Open Mic.
Gracias a @hiveopenmic, @cabelindsay por traernos esta genial iniciativa que une a músicos de todo el mundo cada semana y a @ocd por el apoyo a esta hermosa comunidad.
El tema de esta semana propuesto por @ruthlopez me encantó, "Trust" (confianza). De solo leerlo, inmediatamente sabía la canción que elegiría para interpretar.
La confianza es una cualidad del alma, yo diría que es como la Fé.
Muchas veces caminamos por valles de incertidumbre, no sabemos qué dirección tomar o cómo resolver una situación que nos preocupa.
Tenemos dos opciones: enfocarnos en el problema o enfocar nuestra mirada en Dios, la divinidad.
Es más fácil decirlo que hacerlo, pero creo que la confianza se ejercita como un músculo que entre más la uses más observas los resultados casi milagrosos.
Me llevó mucho tiempo llegar hasta acá. Básicamente mi crianza estuvo bombardeada de muchos miedos imaginarios, de mucha sobreprotección que en vez de ayudarme, desencadenaron un trastorno de ansiedad más adelante cuando me hice adulta.
Y así viví mucho tiempo presa del miedo, de la incertidumbre hasta que tuve un despertar espiritual. Llegué a un punto que dije merezco vivir mejor, merezco ser feliz y ahí comencé mi viaje espiritual en el que cada día sigo aprendiendo.
Creo que el tener una iglesia cristiana al frente de mi casa donde dan continuamente servicios sobre la fé con testimonio, me han ayudado muchísimo a ejercitar ese músculo.
Y a medida que voy soltando el control y dejándolo todo en manos de Dios él va corriendo las situaciones de manera perfecta, porque él todo lo hace perfecto.
Eso no quiere decir que yo simplemente me siente a ver cómo se resuelve todo por arte de magia, aunque algunas veces es así.
Parte de la Fé es tomar acciones inspiradas y aprovechar las oportunidades que se van presentando en el camino para lograr el objetivo. Es un 70% de parte del cielo y un 30% de parte de nosotros.
La canción que escogí para interpretar en esta semana se llama "Way Maker" y habla sobre un Dios poderoso, milagroso que nos va abriendo los caminos aunque en el momento no podamos ver, pero sentimos su presencia y depositamos nuestra confianza en él sabiendo que está obrando a bien para nosotros.
