This week we shall be exploring the theme "Pasión por el Arte." By our spotlight artist. "Pasión por el Arte", " means passion for art".
Today I would love to stress music as an Art. Music is an art concerned with the combination of vocals, instrumentation, thoughts, rhythm, harmony and melody which in turn forms something beautiful and pleasant to ears. Today the art of music can be heard in different styles and genres like jazz, pop, hip-pop, R&B etc.
Music is said to be an art because it gives room for expression, just like you could tell an expression behind a painting, you can also tell the emotions and feelings attached to a song. It could be love, hatred, sadness, happiness, anger etc. Music tells the emotions of the artist at that moment.
My Entry today is a Piece of Art by one of Nigeria's finest Artiste. The Title of the Song is Show Me Off
Her songs are poetic and creative, you could never get bored listening to her piece because she sure has a way round it.
