Una simple melodía || Simple Pretty Melody
Without a doubt, the task of singing the song A Capella, was much simpler and faster....
But the truth is that I didn't understand that the idea was for us to do it this way to put it together in a video. I saw a couple of covers and once @mipiano made me understand that she was waiting for my participation, I got down to work and started to make my "inventions"...
By the time I understood the project, I had already spent many hours on this version and I didn't want to throw them away, so I finished it and this is what I bring as my entry to the Hive Open Mic, week 72.
Let it be said that I took the liberty of bringing along a couple of guests for the video, without them knowing, so I hope they are not going to bother and much less sue me! 😱 😱 😱
As I usually do in my posts, even though it's Vox Populi, I state that I know this song is a composition of my friend @cabelindsay (Of course with the exception of the improvised parts, including the spoken parts).

Sin duda alguna, la tarea de cantar la canción A Capella, era mucho más sencilla y rápida...
Pero la verdad es que no entendí que la idea era que lo hiciéramos así para juntarlo en un video. Yo vi un par de covers y una vez que @mipiano me hizo entender que estaba esperando mi participación, pues puse manos a la obra y empecé a hacer mis "inventos"...
Para el momento que comprendí el proyecto, ya había gastado muchas horas en esta versión y no quise tirarlas por la borda, así que lo terminé y es lo que traigo como mi participación al Hive Open Mic, semana 72.
Valga decir que me tomé la libertad de traerme para el video un par de invitados, sin que ellos lo supieran. ¡Así que espero no se vayan a molestar y mucho menos demandarme! 😱 😱 😱
Tal como acostumbro a hacer en mis publicaciones, aunque es Vox Populi, afirmo que se esta canción es una composición del amigo @cabelindsay (Claro con la excepción de las partes improvisadas, incluidas las habladas).

WOW , what a TERRIFIC job you have done! I can't believe how great is this. Completely unique (though I wanted to ask you those few days ago can it be a salsa type of rhythm with trombone parts haha...but I knew you would know what to do, and you overdid all the expectations!

The idea of salsa was there from the beginning, but you know that one of the main characteristics of this music is the syncopation, that is to anticipate the chord of the next measure and in this case the harmony was recorded in time (as usual).
I had not played the trombone for several months, because I realized that I have no time left to study it "as it should be". But that was one of the ways to make it sound like salsa, so I had to start "blowing" it again...
