RE: Day 2: HiveFest7 - Close Encounters and Coldbeetrootsoup

Oh damn, I just noticed. LOL

Great presentation!

How much does it cost if you are making 200 (PDF) issued NFTs for the magazine @ NFTShowroom on HIVE? You can also peg them to the number of issues that were given away @ HiveFest for example.

It would increase the value of the brand over time. I don't know if you're planning to print physicals of the HiQ Magazine all the time, but if you grow, and do, you could tie the NFT to the physical copy of it that people purchase(d). Otherwise, I can see it would be quite expensive indeed regarding printing, put a QR sticker on it that takes you to the link of the unique NFT transaction/itself (and send it to the wallet of the person). 15 HIVE + Shipping costs per edition doesn't sound too bad (as well as in terms of marketing budget/expenses), right?

For example;
Issue 1: 200 minted NFTs (giveaways)
Issue 2: 10 minted NFTs (people who bought the NFT)
Issue 3: 20 minted NFTs (people who bought the NFT)
And so on the increment goes on

As you progress and get to the 100th issue (whether people have bought them or not, the person who holds issues 1 and/or 2 as an NFT has a pretty awesome collectible (proof of reading/support/brain/work/etc).

Oh well, just an idea :P

Sounds like a nice idea. I guess we have to ponder about it a little bit.

The printing is somewhat break even at the moment. We managed to squeeze in some ads at the last minute. It was only the express delivery that skyrocketed the price to 200%.

We sell the remaining physical copies for 5 HBD + shipping to everyone who is interested. Infos are in the last post of @hiq.redaktion. An NFT you can touch so to say. An analogue NFT. 😁

If all goes well we will be definitely make more physical issues of HiQ for HiveFest. I hope we can attend next year. But there is still a lot of time until then.

I am happy that you like our stuff. 👍
