Hello Silverbloggers friends, I hope you are all doing well. It has been a while since I last wrote within the community, and I am excited to do so for Prompt #21: What are your favourite pastimes/passions from childhood. I had a very happy childhood with my siblings. I spent most of my time with them. My brother is three years older than me, and I am five years older than my younger sister, so there wasn't much of an age difference between us. We had a lot of fun together, but we also had silly fights and lots of laughs.

One of my favourite childhood pastimes was taking lots of photographs. I was the kind of person who wanted to take photos of every moment. Whether it was a birthday or a family gathering, I always wanted to take a photo of the moment. From a very young age, I felt that it was a way of preserving memories of moments that would pass quickly. I still have that passion for photography and have experimented with some cameras I've had and also with my phone. Now there are many more technologies available to take better photos and preserve those memories forever.

I also really enjoyed playing video games with my brothers. The first game console we had was a Nintendo 64, if I remember correctly, and then a PlayStation 1. Both are relics now, and we still have them, but they must be tucked away somewhere in the house. The fact is that I really enjoyed playing, especially a specific game about a dragon called Spyro, if I remember correctly. It was one of my favourites, along with a Yu Gi-Oh game where the goal was always to get the best cards and win the duels. It was a lot of fun, and we could spend entire afternoons playing.

I really have great memories of my childhood, especially of the love I received from my mother and grandmother, the support of my siblings, and feeling like I was in an environment where I could be myself. Remembering through this post the things I enjoyed doing and still enjoy seeing that life was beautiful in many moments and that it was all worth it despite the difficulties one may experience. Some photos are lost, but I hope that in this post I can share some with you so that you can appreciate what I enjoyed doing so much in my childhood. I appreciate your comments, and I send you a big hug.

Hi @naath, Nintendos were all the rage when I was a kid, but they never really appealed to me. I preferred running around and playing in the dirt, haha. My cousins, though, were huge fans of these games and wore clothes with their favorite characters on them.

Cheers!

@belkyscabrera Playing in the dirt was also fun, making plasticine figures or preparing desserts was part of my childhood, hahaha. Thank you for reading my post, best regards 😊
