The old house and the B&B kind of kept me prisoner.
Usually that happens when we live in an independent house without a lot of people who can compliment each other at times. Same goes with my parents, they are not ready to move ( they like the place, even I too), that's why I keep going. Good to see you enjoying some freedom now and free from chores.
Yes, it's easier when there's other people in the house. I can imagine just how your parents feel, we put off the move because of the memories. Our sons both wanted to come and say goodbye to the house before I moved out.
