Red Kite on top of a tree

On this weekends trip I was able to take several pictures of birds of prey but unfortunately the light conditions where very bad and I am not really satisfied with the results. Maybe I can improove some of the pictures by editing on the PC but but I think it will be a little bit difficult. But I cannot always have a lot of luck and this time I was happy that at least I saw several of these nice birds eventhough the weather conditions were not perfect. Maybe I have some time and enough motivation in the next days to try to edit and improove some of the images and then I will show you some more pictures of the weekend. Stefan and I visited a friend there and talked a little and he allowed us to use his place to take some pictures of eagles there at the river. Unfortunately the weather was bad and the light conditions terrible. Next time I hope we'll have a little bit more luck.

This animal seems to be sad because it has no mate or it is waiting for its friend in the bad weather.

Nice photo! This kite sits so funny on a tight, narrow piece of wood.

The weather in Bohemia is also nasty. If it was against a blue sky, the photo would be beautiful. This way, the colors will fade. At least nice observation 👍
