In today’s post I publish a photo of a pair of seagulls standing at the sea barrier. The image was captured just in the moment when a wave hit the rocks and the splash was recorded in the image.
I publish three versions of the same photo, in the first one I used a selective color, just showing the yellow of the barrier, the second image is in its natural colors and the third one is a black and white version. I prefer the first image.
En esta ocasión publico una foto de dos gaviotas posadas en el muro de la barrera marina. La instantánea fue tomada justo en el momento en que una ola chocaba contras las rocas, quedando captada en la imagen la salpicadura del agua en el aire.
Muestro tres versiones, en la primera usé una coloración selectiva, donde se destaca el amarillo de la barrera. La segunda imagen es en color natural, mientras que la tercera es una versión en blanco y negro. Siendo la primera imagen la que más me agrada.
The photo was taken while I was walking along the seaside at Antofagasta (Chile), I used the camera of a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with the 10x lens, which gives a focal length equivalent to 230 mm in the full frame format.
La fotografía fue tomada mientras paseaba por el borde costero de Antofagasta. Usé la cámara de mi celular un Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra con el lente de 10x, que da una distancia focal equivalente a 230 mm en el formato de 35mm.

The photo with in its natural colors is nice. I like to experiment with different chromatic variations.
