Rook found food

We have a small park near the river. The place is quite busy. Many young people come here to the river bank. They often take food with them and eat it sitting on the benches. In the fresh air they always have a good appetite.

You can always see birds next to them. Basically it is rooks and jackdaws. They wait for people to finish eating and leave. Then the birds immediately begin to pull out the food packaging from the urns.

They throw the packages on the ground and start tearing them apart. Birds hope to find leftover food in the packages. The packages often smell like the delicious smell of fresh food. Birds do not understand that there is usually no food. But they are attracted by the smell.

And they diligently tear open the packages in the hope of finding food inside. It is very funny to watch how the birds work on the packaging, looking for food for themselves.

Often they pull out everything that is there from the urns. Around the urns they scatter a large amount of paper and packaging. Sometimes dozens of birds gather there.

All of them are trying to look for food and soon a lot of paper and packages torn into small pieces are collected at this place. They deliver a lot of work to the workers who clean around the bins.

Of course birds flock here all the time. They know that you can always find food here. Some people specially feed them even in the warm season.

Therefore, birds are always friendly with people. Moreover, they are never offended. They often sit and wait for a long time to be given food.

Hopefully they don't try eating the plastic bags too.

Rooks are super clever apparently.

This story made me smile. Must be funny to watch them.
