I was taking a photo of a Curlew at the Gannel Estuary and I noticed a Kingfisher on the near back
Not a wader but managed to get my first Kingfisher photo thanks to the Curlew. I tend to find they fly off before I can get a shot.

Excellent photos of this great selection of waders! The Curlews have such pretty feathers and the Oystercatchers look rather distinguished all dressed in black and white! Thanks for posting to the #featheredfriends community!
