πŸ¦‰ The Eurasian treecreeper or common treecreeper (Certhia familiaris)

πŸ“š Certhia (Greek): kerthios - a small bird crawling through the trees, mentioned by Aristotle
πŸ“š familiaris (lat.): common, easily recognizable

To my regret, this bird has become less and less common.
The bird is not easy to spot due to her small size and distinctive plumage coloration. But she is very mobile, which allows you to notice her . But not everything is so simple. In any case, the bird will try not to fall into your eyes, and stay in the shade, while it will crawl up the tree along a spiral path.

In the old days, the bird had an alternative name - "cricket". All because of her voice, or rather the calls of insects similar to the sound of the same name. Their song itself is melodic, and somewhat resembles the song of the willow warbler.
