In the middle of spring I like to visit the meadows outside the city. At this time, there is still no dense vegetation, thickets, tall grass, so it is easy to walk around the territory, and local birds are still very clearly visible.

I go to these places solely for several types of birds, including this one. By this time they have already formed a pair, so all their business is building a nest. The female is engaged in the construction itself, while the male guards the territory, and notifies the female of dangers.

There are few dangers in these places, among them weasels, birds of prey, and cuckoos that are very willing to lay eggs in their nests.
