Hello Hello awesome people of the Hive
This week I got inspired again by the wonderful @nelinoeva and it gave me another reason to test out my still relatively new toy 📸.
I am referring to this post Feathered Friends - Show Me A Photo Contest Round 66
Yes, it was time to capture, well capture on screen anyway, some of our feathered friends, and this week the theme is BIRD ON ROCK/STONE!
I knew exactly where I was going to go! Yep my favourite bench in my local park, I was sure that I would see Magpies, Jackdaws, Thrushes, Blackbirds, Starlings and even perhaps a Robin or bluetit!
So I packed up some food for them, grabbed my camera and away I went.

So this blogpost is my entry to #SMaP Show Me A Photo Contest Round 66!
I laid out the food, sat on my bench and we ate our sandwiches, here was our first visitor!
Yes it was Percy pigeon
He really is a greedy wee thing!
There were actually two Percies and I am sure you could tell by the different rocks!
I had some fun and made his own wee gif!

As hard as I tried to entice this wee one, the blue tit was having none of it, and just watched from a bush over my shoulder!

Beautiful friends you've got there Tito Ed! And Percy 1 doesn't look like he is a wee and look at their food! They're happy with you around they know they will be fed generously. And maybe next time, that blue tit will go down a bit closer to you hehe. All the best in the contest!

The little birds are flighty and quick, they jump from brnach to branch and tend to eat when they know we can't see them!
All good fun, some excuse to get out and get some fresh air and practise with the camera!
They sure are lovely Tito Ed. And at least you were able to take a snap of the little bird. They doubled your fun after your Club's win hehe.
That is so very true CJ, fun fun and yet more fun and now the countdown to May 18th and the final, I will be a nervous wreck!

Cute pigeon.. There is a lot here but not advisable to feed them..
In the street I don't, in the park I don't mind them eating, but rather the other birds ate.

The gif was a bit of fun, they make the funniest of faces and when he had his eye closed I had to do the gif!

You finally made a post of the pigeons, haha. I don't like pigeons at all. Although Percy seems nice. But they can become a plague, we had a few years ago an invasion of pigeons on our balcony and it was a nightmare to get rid of them. I could even write a short story about what we lived, haha.

jeje I know you don't like the pigeons, well I thought I would capture some other birds but Percy 1 and Percy 2 stole the show for being on a rock.
I did manage to take some pics of the bluetit and you saw another pic of the on the WE100 post 🤣
Pigeons wherever they are do the possible and the impossible to steal the show. 🤣

I once saw some pigeons in St. Marks Square in Venice that were so well fed, they had to take a running waddle to get airborne 🤣🤣
