Here is my entry for #featheredfriend - show me a photo contest with a theme small birds.
It is an Olive-backed sunbird (Cinnyris jugularis). They are small songbird, at most 12 cm long. In our local dialects here in the Philippines, we call them "siw-siw-it" in Ilokano and "swit-swit-swit" in Tagalog. It is because of the sound they make. I usually see these bird feeding on nectar of flowers.
