It was hot so all the feathered friends decided to take a dip in the nearest puddle, when they got there they noticed @acont and @garybilbao wet washing their feathers, and further away was the beautiful @carmary in her waterproof dress relaxing watching the sunset.
I could see them all from the sky but as I was too hungry I couldn't join them so I kept flying over the park to see who I could catch.

Hello @wrestlingdesires, thanks for the invitation, here I present my stories for this week's contest
The moorhens:
They are in the middle of the breeding season, which coincides with the rains and splash in the river, which has more water and an abundance of food, such as snails, larvae, plankton and insects. Alicia, her mother tells her two little ones Luis and Marta. "Children, take advantage, there are many snails here. We have already eaten too many seeds and our stomach is quite delicate due to gas. Hurry up, before it gets dark and the bears, wolves and owls arrive."
Meanwhile the chicks jump from one side to another shouting "There!, no, there", "where?, here!"
And so they spend the afternoon in a hurry, splashing around and eating a lot of protein to be able to grow healthy, before the change of season and to be ready when they leave the nest and have to look for partners.
The Raven:
He is Raul, a leader, personal self-improvement coach and religious leader.
He is conducting a conference and as he confidently unfolds his wings and swoops down, tells the audience: "Brothers, you have to behave yourself so you can be cute and free like meeeeeeee."

This mama cock @zhanavic69 with her chicks @nayita238 and @vicent enjoying a nice morning swim in the lagoon, to teach them good habits of cleanliness, hygiene, because the children must be taught that and more.
The chicks are happy this day, because their uncle crow will come to give them their first flying lessons, so that when it is their turn to fly and leave the nest, they will be ready.
Yes, their uncle will also teach them how to look for their own sustenance and to beware of the dangers that all birds face from hunters.
And their mother with a lump in her throat because someday her chicks will leave to live their own life, but happy that they will know how to defend themselves in life because of her teachings and those of their uncle crow @wrestlingdesires.

Los polluelos están felices este día, ya que vendrá su tío cuervo, a darles sus primeras lecciones de vuelo, ya que cuando les toque volar y dejar el nido, ya estén preparados.
Si su tío también les va enseñar, como buscar su propio sustento, cuidarse de los peligros que le acechan a todos los pájaros de los cazadores.

The search for Aldo
After a stormy weather that wreck havoc on homes, the birds of South valley were affected as well, some in a state of recovery, some just couldn't make it from the three days heavy rainfall with storm.
Mojo with some bright 🌞 weather have recovered from the bad weather without her friend Aldo.
Unknown to Mojo, Aldo didn't survive the stormy weather.
Both were apart when the bad weather started, terrified and worried about Mojo's whereabout Aldo went in search of Mojo, in the process drown in the heavy rainfall.
It's Mojo's third flight in search for her best friend, each around returning to their favorite spot hoping to find Aldo only to get disappointed and sad of Aldo's whereabout.
Perhaps after another day or two Mojo might come to the realization Aldo didn't make it alive from the three days bad weather that not affected the birds of South valley but humans alike.
So sad 😢 Let's hope her babies can comfort her.

The Murdochs ~ Not your Average Moorhen family...
Mildred Murdoch was taking her twin children Maureen and Marvin for an early morning walk on the water.
They were growing up so fast that she wanted to get them familiar with the wider area around their wee home, before they got their independence.
"Come on children, keep up, we need to get to the butt and ben as fast as we can, there will be a treat waiting for when we get there."
"How do you know there will be a treat mother?" asked Marvin.
"Oh Marvin, because your father put it there this morning, but be warned there is only one! So whoever gets there first wins the prize and eats a tasty wiggling treat!"
"Oh that is wonderful mummy, I am going as fast as I can, I want to get the treat before Marvin does!" chirped Maureen "Hey, where are you going Marvin?"

They continued walking to get to the river because they were so thirsty an d hungry. They drank water from the river and then they also looked for some fish to eat. They did not catch one so they just returned home. The end.

Spring is starting and my three babies have already escaped me....
-Children, no one gave you permission to go to the river. Come quickly.... you can't swim. You are playing at being adults, that's incomprehensible in our family....
-Mom, if you want to come and play with us. The water is cool..." answers the biggest bird.
-They are going to get sick and I don't have anyone else to take care of them. Besides, your dad told me to stay with you without taking your eyes off them. .....
-Mom, dare you," says the bird with a loud voice....
Mommy bird decides to go after her children but ...... daddy bird has just arrived and wants to cuddle with her.
Nothing, I also have a conjugal responsibility with my husband...I will be with him and then as soon as he falls asleep I will run after my naughty little birds. I have to bring them back home before my husband finds out that, I am an indulgent bird mom. He may think that my children don't respect my authority. But my beautiful, intelligent babies will support me in due course. ....
