My female Harris's hawk (2022.01.01)

in Feathered Friends2 years ago

The last time I uploaded photos about her was 12 days ago (on 2021.12.20):
My female Harris's hawk (2021.12.20).

So she is the female Harris's hawk I live with. She is literally living with me currently in the room of my rent. We sleep together almost every day. I mentioned/mentioning her in many comments and in many posts. I took these photos today (on 2022.01.01).

I took these photos with my smartphone (Samsung Galaxy A12). I edited the photos in Snapseed (Android application).

Happy New Year to everyone.

Have a nice day and have a nice weekend.
All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.

I hope so :) She is definitely inspiring ❤️

Looks like she is doing great now and recovered from her injury. You have got some nice photos of her, she seemed so curious and was trying to figure out what's going on looking at the camera...

Almost completely. She can walk, and she is using her left leg, but still not properly. She still need some time to completely recover.

Happy New Year.

wow! that is an unusual pet!

Is she like a cat or dog in that she is loving to you? Or what is having a hawk like?

She is loving and cuddly. Very tame and very friendly. And she is very smart. You can teach her to fly to your arm in 1-2 months. By the way, Harris's hawks are social birds. They are the only predarory bird, who live and hunt in groups.

Everyone can have a Harris's hawk in my country (in Hungary). And in many other countries too. But if you live in the USA, then you need to have a falconry license to keep a Harris's hawk.
