Hello friends of this community, again I am with all of you, today I wanted to join this great initiative, which refers to those Memorable Vacations those vacations that are never forgotten and remain impregnated in our heart, I wanted to join to talk about those vacations that bring me too many memories, because the person who accompanied me in those moments, today is not physically, I know I will never live it again, but I do it through this publication and thanks to this community of Family & Friends for bringing me those wonderful memories that I lived next to my family and my son who is not physically here today, I tell you that while I was writing this publication my eyes were filled with tears and my heart with beautiful memories.
Hola amigos de esta comunidad, de nuevo estoy con todos ustedes, hoy he querido unirme a esta gran iniciativa, que hace referencia a esas Vacaciones memorables esas vacaciones que nunca se olvidan y se quedan impregnadas en nuestro corazón, he querido unirme para hablar de esas vacaciones que me traen demasiados recuerdos, porque la persona que me acompañó en esos momentos, hoy no está físicamente, por lo que cada vez que visito ese lugar al que fuimos y disfrutamos juntos me llena de mucha nostalgia, sé que nunca lo volveré a vivir, pero lo hago a través de esta publicación y gracias a esta comunidad de Family & Friends por traerme esos maravillosos recuerdos que viví al lado de mi familia y de mi hijo que hoy no está físicamente, les cuento que mientras escribía esta publicación mis ojos se llenaban de lágrimas y mi corazón de hermosos recuerdos.
We took this vacation in the month of August 1999 in the city of Puerto Ordaz - Bolivar State, we went to my sister's house because she had invited us to see her new house since she had just moved to another area, so I took advantage of that invitation to give my son a vacation because he had passed the year with good grades and deserved to enjoy, for that then I was accompanied by my mom, my sister @wendyth16, 2 nephews and my son Aníbal José, I remember that to travel to Puerto Ordaz we took a sleeper bus from Expreso del Caribe, there we traveled with many amenities, with air conditioning and very spacious and comfortable seats, we spent 6 or more hours on the road, when we arrived in Puerto Ordaz my brother in law was waiting for us at the terminal to pick us up at that time he had a Ford Sierra vehicle and took us to his house, when we arrived at his house we ate, bathed and rested for a while, then we planned where we were going to go those 7 days of stay in Puerto Ordaz there were many options, so we sat down and began to plan our trip to spend those well deserved vacations.
Estas vacaciones las tomamos en el mes de agosto de 1999 en la ciudad de Puerto Ordaz - Estado Bolívar, fuimos a la casa de mi hermana porque nos había invitado a conocer su nueva casa ya que se acababa de mudar a otra zona, así que aproveché esa invitación para darle a mi hijo unas vacaciones porque había pasado el año con buenas notas y se merecía disfrutar, para eso entonces me acompañaron mi mamá, mi hermana @wendyth16, 2 sobrinos y mi hijo Aníbal José, recuerdo que para viajar a Puerto Ordaz tomamos un bus cama de Expreso del Caribe, allí viajamos con muchas comodidades, con aire acondicionado y asientos muy amplios y cómodos, estuvimos 6 o más horas en la carretera, cuando llegamos a Puerto Ordaz mi cuñado nos estaba esperando en el terminal para recogernos en ese momento él tenía un vehículo Ford Sierra y nos llevó a su casa, cuando llegamos a su casa comimos, nos bañamos y descansamos un rato, luego planeamos a donde íbamos a ir esos 7 días de estadía en Puerto Ordaz había muchas opciones, así que nos sentamos y comenzamos a planear nuestro viaje para pasar esas merecidas vacaciones.
The first day we chose to visit the Cachamay park because my son had chosen it because he wanted to visit the zoo that was there, he loved animals and wanted to see them up close especially the monkeys, so that morning we got up early to prepare the food we were going to take (sandwiches) drinks (water, sodas and juices) and candy; we also had to arrive early to the site because in those days of vacations many people arrived.
This park known as Cachamay is very close to Puerto Ordaz when we arrived we were very happy, we entered and began to contemplate its natural landscapes, it was wonderful to enjoy that walk to where the zoo was, it was a long way, when we arrived at the zoo we could see jaguars, tigers, toucans, otters, cunaguaro, capuchin monkeys, crocodiles, parrots, chiguires, deer, and many other species, Some of the things they warned us was that we had to be careful with the monkeys because they like to snatch the food and water we carry in our hands and that we should not get too close to them because they like to grab us by the hair, but my son did not pay attention and got very close and one of them grabbed him by the hair and did not want to let go, he was very scared and so was I, but thank God it did not happen, the visit to this park was great although we had a big scare.
This park Cachamay is big and very visited, with an incredible flora and fauna, when I was in this place I was filled with peace and thanked the universe for such a wonderful view.
El primer día escogimos visitar el parque Cachamay porque mi hijo lo había escogido porque quería visitar el zoológico que allí se encontraba, a él le encantaban los animales y quería verlos de cerca sobre todo a los monos, así que esa mañana nos levantamos temprano para preparar la comida que íbamos a llevar (sándwiches) las bebidas (agua, gaseosas y jugos) y las golosinas; también teníamos que llegar temprano al sitio porque en esos días de vacaciones llegaba mucha gente.
Este parque conocido como Cachamay está muy cerca de Puerto Ordaz cuando llegamos nos dio mucha alegría, entramos y empezamos a contemplar sus paisajes naturales, fue maravilloso disfrutar de esa caminata hasta donde estaba el zoológico, era un camino largo, cuando llegamos al zoológico pudimos ver jaguares, tigres, tucanes, nutrias, cunaguaro, monos capuchinos, cocodrilos, loros, chiguires, venados, y muchas otras especies, algunas de las cosas que nos advirtieron fue que teníamos que tener cuidado con los monos porque les gustaba arrebatar la comida y el agua que llevamos en las manos y que no nos acercáramos mucho a ellos porque les gustaba agarrar del pelo, pero mi hijo no hizo caso y se acercó mucho y uno de ellos le agarró del pelo y no lo quería soltar, se asustó mucho y yo también, pero gracias a Dios no pasó a mayores, la visita a este parque fue grandiosa aunque nos llevamos un gran susto.
Este parque Cachamay es grande y muy visitado, con una flora y una fauna increíble, cuando estuve en este lugar me llené de mucha paz y agradecí al universo por tan maravillosa vista.
The second day of our vacation we went to visit the castles of Guayana, these castles are located 45 minutes from Ciudad Guayana (Puerto Ordaz / San Felix) and belongs to the state of Delta Amacuro, it is known by that name because they are made up of two fortresses, I remember that to get to these castles we had to climb a long way but it was worth visiting these castles my son and my nephews were impressed when they saw the cannons that were used at that time and the amount of things that were in the place, here we spent a very nice and warm time and also knew something of our history of Venezuela as these castles served as a refuge for the Spanish troops. Once we finished our tour we went to my sister's house tired, we bathed and stayed to rest and talk about everything we had experienced that day.
El segundo día de nuestras vacaciones fuimos a visitar los castillos de Guayana, estos castillos están ubicados a 45 minutos de Ciudad Guayana (Puerto Ordaz / San Félix) y pertenece al estado Delta Amacuro, se le conoce con ese nombre porque están conformados por dos fortalezas, Recuerdo que para llegar a estos castillos tuvimos que subir un largo camino pero valió la pena visitar estos castillos mi hijo y mis sobrinos quedaron impresionados al ver los cañones que se usaban en esa época y la cantidad de cosas que había en el lugar, aquí pasamos un rato muy agradable y cálido y además conocimos algo de nuestra historia de Venezuela ya que estos castillos sirvieron de refugio para las tropas españolas. Una vez que terminamos nuestro recorrido nos fuimos a la casa de mi hermana cansados, nos bañamos y nos quedamos a descansar y a conversar sobre todo lo que habíamos vivido ese día.
The third day we went to visit the Guri Dam which is located near Puerto Ordaz, I remember that in the place there was a bus where we all got on and that took us to tour all the facilities of the place took us to the powerhouse, the spillways, in addition, we saw a beautiful work of Alejandro Otero, we continued our tour and arrived at a very nice place known as the square of the sun and the moon, There we found a giant sundial my son was very excited and asked if that was the clock that was used before the guide gave him an explanation, we also realized that at the bottom of the square we saw a square in the shape of a half moon hence the name of the square, we also went to the church that is located in the Guri, we loved visiting this place, plus the story that we were told of this great dam as we had a guide who was telling us our tour. The Guri dam is a very beautiful place where we spent a quiet time and lived a unique experience; it also has a viewpoint where we observed a complete panoramic view of the dam, it is impressive to see the water when it falls with such force.
El tercer día fuimos a visitar la Represa del Guri que se encuentra cerca de Puerto Ordaz, recuerdo que en el lugar había un autobús donde nos subimos todos y que nos llevó a recorrer todas las instalaciones del lugar nos llevó a la casa de las máquinas, los aliviaderos, además, vimos una hermosa obra de Alejandro Otero, seguimos nuestro recorrido y llegamos a un lugar muy bonito conocido como la plaza del sol y la luna, allí nos encontramos con un reloj de sol gigante mi hijo estaba muy emocionado y preguntó si ese era el reloj que se usaba antes se que el guía le dio una explicación, también nos dimos cuenta que en el fondo de la plaza vimos un cuadrado en forma de media luna de ahí el nombre de la plaza, también fuimos a la iglesia que se encuentra en el Guri, nos encantó visitar este lugar, además de la historia que nos contaron de esta gran represa ya que teníamos un guía que nos estaba contando nuestro recorrido. La represa del Guri es un lugar muy bonito donde pasamos un rato tranquilo y vivimos una experiencia única; además, tiene un mirador donde observamos una panorámica completa de la represa, es impresionante ver el agua cuando cae con tanta fuerza.
The fourth day we visited El Salto La Llovizna, when we entered the first thing we saw was the lagoon where there was a breeding of fish there we bought food to feed them, it was very exciting to see the fish eating, then we continued our walk enjoying its lush vegetation and cool weather, also the water falls, While walking we found several viewpoints where we sat for a while and admired the beautiful scenery, we took pictures of the place, I felt like in an encounter with nature, we continued our route but with great caution and when we reached a bridge we were told about the tragedy that had happened years ago with some teachers and visitors, there is a memorable plaque there with the names of the disappeared, we continued the tour because I was anxious to admire this huge waterfall of 20 meters high, see the jump of the drizzle that whirlwind of water that is formed there that gives the sensation of rain I was very excited, so we took many pictures, when we finished we continued walking to find the stone theater where many people were exercising, this is a place that seemed wonderful and very quiet, although we got tired walking because it is huge, here in this place I had a connection with nature and I felt full of peace and very relaxed.
El cuarto día visitamos El Salto La Llovizna, cuando entramos lo primero que vimos fue la laguna donde había una cría de peces allí compramos comida para alimentarlos, fue muy emocionante ver a los peces comiendo, luego continuamos nuestra caminata disfrutando de su exuberante vegetación y el clima fresco, también de la caídas del agua, mientras caminábamos encontramos varios miradores donde nos sentamos un rato y admiramos el hermoso paisaje, tomamos fotos del lugar, me sentí como en un encuentro con la naturaleza, continuamos nuestra ruta pero con mucha precaución y al llegar a un puente nos contaron sobre la tragedia que había sucedido años atrás con algunos profesores y visitantes, allí hay una placa memorable con los nombres de los desaparecidos, continuamos el recorrido porque estaba ansiosa de admirar esta enorme cascada de 20 metros de altura, ver el salto de la llovizna ese torbellino de agua que se forma ahí que da la sensación de lluvia me emociono mucho, así que tomamos muchas fotos, cuando terminamos seguimos caminando para encontrar el teatro de piedra donde muchas personas estaban haciendo ejercicio, este es un lugar que nos pareció maravilloso y muy tranquilo, aunque nos cansamos caminando porque es enorme, aquí en este lugar tuve una conexión con la naturaleza y me sentí llena de paz y muy relajada.
There are so many things to tell of those vacations, many anecdotes to remember only remain stored in our hearts, so those 7 days were very special and wonderful and remember my loved one who is no longer in this plane makes it even more, the remaining days we visited the city of San Feliz there we made a stop at the boardwalk, there we visited several stores like tijerazo, Total, among others; We also visited the city of Upata since a friend of my sister had invited us and we took the opportunity to buy cheese since it is one of the places where they sell the best cheese there we made a stop at the Plaza Bolivar of Upata; another day we went to know the city of Piar in an afternoon we took the children to eat at Mac Donal, to play in the machines, visit the malls Orinoquia and Macro center was very fun those vacations we had a great time, these are the beautiful memories that will never return of a memorable vacation.
Hay tantas cosas que contar de esas vacaciones, muchas anécdotas que recordar solo quedan guardadas en nuestros corazones, por lo que esos 7 días fueron muy especiales y maravillosos y recordar a mi ser querido que ya no está en este plano lo hace aún más, los días restantes visitamos la ciudad de San Feliz allí hicimos una parada en el malecón, allí visitamos varias tiendas como el tijerazo, Total, entre otras; También visitamos la ciudad de Upata ya que una amiga de mi hermana nos había invitado y aprovechamos para comprar queso ya que es uno de los lugares donde venden el mejor queso allí hicimos una parada en la Plaza Bolívar de Upata; otro día fuimos a conocer la ciudad de Piar en una tarde llevamos a los niños a comer a Mac Donal, a jugar en las maquinitas, visitar los centros comerciales Orinoquia y Macro centro fue muy divertido esas vacaciones la pasamos muy bien, estos son los hermosos recuerdos que nunca volverán de unas vacaciones memorables.
