VACACIONES MEMORABLES// MERIDA.
Hola, hola mis hermosos amigo de esta comunidad maravillosa que me abre las puertas para poder compartir todas y cada uno de esas experiencias increíbles, todos esos pequeños o grandes detalles y momentos que vivimos al lado de nuestros amigos y sobre todo de nuestra familia.
Hoy quise participar está está nueva iniciativa que tienen donde me piden que hable de esas vacaciones memorables ,esa que llegamos a vivir con esos seres especiales que forman parte de nuestra vida, así que ponte cómodo porque te llevaré a dar un paseo bastante nutrido, por lo que fue ese viaje al que considero para mí el mejor de toda mi vida, y mira que he viajado he, pero este tiene momentos únicos, este es sin duda alguna el mejor, acompáñame a revivir mi viaje por el Estado Mérida/ Venezuela.
Les cuento yo vivo en una Estado de Venezuela llamado Sucre al norte de Venezuela, para los que no lo conocen este es un estado de costas y playas hermoso por demás y por ende el calor está a la orden del día, desde pequeña siempre había querido ir a Mérida un estado con un clima totalmente opuesto al que tenemos acá, y es porque allí hay nieve, queria sentir lo que era jugar con la nieve pero nunca se había dado la oportunidad.
Cuando me case siempre viajaba constantemente, y así fue como conocí a casi todo mi país, mi mamá al igual que yo siempre había soñado con ir a este estado, pero nunca se había podido, un día mi esposo llegó y nos dijo: "Reunión familiar" entonces nos sentamos mi mamá quien vive con nosotros, mi hija, mi esposo y yo, nos dijo arreglen todo que en dos días nos vamos para Mérida, ya compré los pasajes, les cuento que todo fue una locura, al día siguiente tuvimos que salir a comprar ropa adecuada para el frío, y bueno arreglamos todo en tiempo récord.
El día de la salida salimos a eso del medio día no tienen idea de la emoción que teníamos los cuatro, abordamos la unidad y rumbo a Mérida fue un viaje bastante largo porque estamos de extremo a extremo, prácticamente atravesamos todo el país, fueron 23 horas de viaje hasta que por fin llegamos, cansados pero más que nada emocionados, al llegar nos abordaron muchas personas ofreciendo alquiler de casas, apartamentos, de paquetes de tours etc.
Hicimos negocio con una señora muy amable por cierto nos consiguió un transporte con un señor más amable aún que la misma señora aún recuerdo su nombre: Arturo Medina, que nos llevó hasta el apartamento que alquilamos, allí nos instalamos, el señor se ofreció a ser nuestro guía, nos ofreció variedad de paquetes y nos agradado, ese día solo lo utilizamos para descansar, y el señor nos explico que estábamos a una cuadra de la heladería Coromoto, la más grande del mundo y record guinness.

Disfrutamos mucho esa noche allí, no sabíamos que sabores elegir los quería probar todos, recuerdo que ese noche pedí uno de pétalos de rosas, con maíz y cocosete, jajajaja todos pedimos sabores locos, mi esposo pidió de cerveza, whiskey y vodka jajajaja hombre al fin, mi mamá también pidió sabores diferentes fororo, garbanzo y maíz y cuando llegó el momento de.pedir mi hija adivinen que sabores pidió: fresa, mantecado y chocolate yo estaba impactada viajar 23 horas y llegar a la heladería con más sabores en el mundo y que está niña pidiera lo que podría haber pedido en cualquier lado, jajajaja cosas que nos pasan solo a nosotros. Paseamos un rato por los alrededores de la plaza y luego de regreso al apartamento.
Al día siguiente nos fuimos a la estación del teleférico con la intención de subir, pero como no sabíamos nada de su funcionamiento nos enteramos que había que comprar los boletos de un día para el otro, entonces compramos y nos fuimos a pasear a los sitios turísticos emblemáticos, fuimos a la catedral, a la plaza Bolivar, alimentamos las palomas, fuimos a la plaza de las heroínas, luego almorzamos y paseamos por todo lo que es el centro de la ciudad y mi pobre camara casi la fundí de tantas fotografías que tome, en la noche cuando regresamos al apartamento cenamos en un puesto de hamburguesas y al salir regresamos a la heladería ya que nos quedaba de camino al apartamento, allí probamos nuevos sabores yo ese día pedí un helado de pabellón, mi mamá de pescado, pepitonas, y arroz, mi esposo de miche, ron y anís y mi hija fresa, mantecado y chocolate jajajaja.
Luego al día siguiente sí que estábamos ansiosos nos levantamos bien temprano y nos fuimos al teleférico, al llegar nos tomamos muchas fotos en la zona de espera y por supuesto compramos gorros, guantes y bufandas, luego si comenzó nuestra travesía y fuimos subiendo estación por estación y en cada una de ellas disfrutamos de comida típica, al llegar a la parte más alta la experiencia fue increíble yo parecía una niña corrí por el lugar, hicimos muñecos de nieve, y lo mejor de todo pude presenciar una nevada increíble fue una de las experiencias más maravillosas que he vivido.
Al día siguiente nos fuimos a conocer un páramo y sus pueblitos ese recorrido nos tomo unos tres días ya que nos quedamos a dormir en alguno de estos pueblos, recuerdo que cuando íbamos en camino el señor Arturo se detuvo y nos mostró una cascada muy hermosa y nos contó su historia ( no la recuerdo ahorita) llamada Cascada Velo de Novia.

También visitamos el pueblo de Jaji, un pueblo bien pintoresco, llegamos a uno de los negocios a comprar artesanías y mi mamá y mi esposo acabaron con toda la chicha andina que había en el lugar, ni a mi hija ni a mi me gusto, también visitamos muchos pueblitos.
Otra de las experiencias increíbles que viví en Mérida fue haber visitado al Collado del cóndor, antiguamente llamado el pico del águila en este lugar el frío es mucho más fuerte incluso que el teleférico, allí realmente sentí como el frío se metía en mis huesos, jajajaja y comíamos chocolates hasta cansarnos para apaciguar un poco el frío, otro de los días visitamos el mercado principal, casi nos traemos todos los dulces que habían en el lugar, eso sin contar con todas las cajas de artesanías que trajimos.
Mérida es increíble tiene mucho para ver, en uno de los días que salimos a pasear conocimos el Castillo San Ignacio una hotel ubicado en Mucuchies que es una belleza, conocí el momento del perro Nevado, la casa de piedra, también fuimos a conocer el monumento de la Loca Luz Caraballo, así como también el monumento de las 5 aguilas.
Pudimos ir a un parque llamado la montaña de los sueños un lugar por demás impresionante que funciona solo de noche,este parque tiene como temática recrear cómo eran los medios de comunicación en los años pasados, es un sitio donde la diversión comienza desde el momento que entras allí me disfraces de Igor y grabé una película, visitamos los estudios antiguos de radios, de televisión, allí nos disfrazamos de los años 70 participe en competencias de bailes, mi hija en un concurso de modelaje, en fin nos divertimos muchísimo.

Otro día visitamos el parque llamado la Venezuela de antier un parque impresionante allí llegamos bien temprano porque el recorrido es bien largo, tanto que duró todo el día, allí nos recibió el mismísimo Juan Vicente Gómez (antiguo presidente de Venezuela catalogado como dictador), visitamos a lo largo del día cada representación de estado por estado no lo puedo negar fue increíble este día, lamentablemente no tengo a la mano de las fotografías de este día.

Ya casi el último día nos llevaron a visitar la Laguna de Mucubaji un sitio mágico dónde el frío hace de las suyas, es un lugar inmenso, bellísimo dónde pasamos el día completo, recuerdo que el señor Arturo nos dijo que había un sitio donde podríamos pescar las truchas nosotros mismos y así lo hicimos, luego de pescarlas las llevamos al restaurante donde nos prepararon las truchas al ajillo, por Dios esto ha Sido una de las peores cosas que he comido en mi vida, al primer bocado sentí el sabor a fango en mi boca y a ninguno de nosotros cuatro nos gusto,ese día solo comimos las deliciosas arepitas andinas con nata, que estaban sabrosas, pasamos el día caminando, disfrutamos del imponente paisaje que la naturaleza nos regaló, allí el frío también fue nuestro compañero fiel, y me daba risa ver cómo las personas foráneas estaba desabrigados, mientras que nosotros parecíamos terroristas escondidos tras de tanta ropa, pero fue un día inolvidable.
Fueron dos semanas maravillosas las que pasamos en este lugar bendecido por Dios lleno de tanto lugares mágicos para visitar y si los visite casi todos pero porsupuesto que quiero regresar y visitar lo que no pudimos por ejemplo el observatorio que en aquella oportunidad no estaba abierto al público por remodelación, y me faltó visitar un parque llamado los aleros y la posada de los abuelos, y tengo esa deuda con mi familia, poderlos llevar nuevamente a este lugar donde nos sentimos tan bien, este lugar sin duda alguna ha Sido el mejor lugar que he visitado en toda mi vida, tanto dentro como fuera de mi país, cada pedacito de este Estado quedó grabado en nuestra mente, en nuestro corazón, y sueño con que llegue el día en que podamos regresar porque si hay algo que disfrutó es viajar y más si es en compañía de mi familia, cómo decimos nosotros, somos un chorizo y dónde va uno vamos todos, y así ha Sido casi siempre nuestros viajes todos juntos, salvó cuando han Sido por trabajo, se que está cerca el día en que pueda regalarle a mi familia este viaje.
Quiero poder llevarlos a disfrutar, quiero viajar con ellos porque para mí son estos pequeños momentos de los que se compone la vida, son estos pequeños momentos que nos crean los mejores recuerdos, esos que se tatúan en nuestras mentes así como este viaje que se quedó en nuestras vidas como algo único.
Por ahora me despido esperando que les haya gustado este pequeño recorrido que les di por este estado hermoso de Venezuela llamado Mérida, también quiero agradecerles por hacerme revivir este viaje que significó y sigue significando tanto no solo en mi vida, sino en la de mi familia, gracias por tan linda iniciativa.

Let me tell you that I live in a state of Venezuela called Sucre in the north of Venezuela, for those who do not know it, this is a state of coasts and beaches that is beautiful and therefore the heat is the order of the day, since I was little I had always wanted to go to Mérida, a state with a climate totally opposite to the one we have here, and it is because there is snow there, I wanted to feel what it was like to play with the snow but I had never given myself the opportunity.< /div>

When I got married I always traveled constantly, and that's how I met almost all of my country, my mom, like me, had always dreamed of going to this state, but it had never been possible, a One day my husband arrived and told us: "Family reunion" so we sat down my mother who lives with us, my daughter, my husband and I, told us to fix everything that in two days we are going to Mérida, I already bought the tickets, I'll tell you that everything was crazy, the next day we had to go out and buy suitable clothes for the cold, and well, we fixed everything in record time.
The day of departure we left around noon, you have no idea how excited the four of us were, we boarded the unit and headed to Mérida, it was quite a long trip because we are from one end to the other , we practically crossed the entire country, it was 23 hours of travel until we finally arrived, tired but more than anything excited, when we arrived many people approached us offering rental houses, apartments, tour packages, etc.
We did business with a very nice lady, by the way, she got us a ride with an even nicer man than the same lady I still remember his name: Arturo Medina, who took us to the apartment we rented, We settled there, the man offered to be our guide, he offered us a variety of packages and we liked it, that day we only used it to rest, and the man explained that we were one block from the Coromoto ice cream parlor, the largest in the world and guinness record.
We really enjoyed that night there, we didn't know which flavors to choose, I wanted to try them all, I remember that night I ordered one with rose petals, with corn and cocosete, hahahaha we all ordered crazy flavors, my husband she ordered beer, whiskey and vodka hahahaha man finally, my mom also ordered different flavors fororo, chickpea and corn and when it was time to ask my daughter guess what flavors she ordered: strawberry, ice cream and chocolate I was shocked to travel 23 hours and arriving at the ice cream parlor with the most flavors in the world and this girl ordering what she could have ordered anywhere, hahahaha things that only happen to us. We walked around the square for a while and then back to the apartment.
The next day we went to the cable car station with the intention of going up, but since we did not know anything about how it worked, we found out that we had to buy the tickets from one day to the next, so we bought and went for a walk to the emblematic tourist sites, we went to the cathedral, to the Bolivar square, we fed the pigeons, we went to the heroines square, then we had lunch and walked through everything that is the center of the city and my poor camera I almost melted it from so many photographs I took, at night when we returned to the apartment we had dinner at a hamburger stand and when we left we returned to the ice cream parlor since it was on the way to the apartment, there we tried new flavors that day I ordered an ice cream from the pavilion, my mother from fish, pepitonas, and rice, my husband from miche, rum and anise and my daughter strawberry, ice cream and chocolate hahahaha.
Then the next day we were really anxious, we got up very early and went to the cable car, when we arrived we took many photos in the waiting area and of course we bought hats, gloves and scarves, then yes our journey began and we went up station by station and in each of them we enjoyed typical food, when we reached the highest part the experience was incredible I looked like a girl I ran around the place, we made snowmen, and the best of All I could witness was an incredible snowfall, it was one of the most wonderful experiences I have ever had.
The next day we went to see a moor and its little towns, that journey took us about three days since we stayed to sleep in one of these towns, I remember that when we were on our way, Mr. Arturo He stopped and showed us a very beautiful waterfall and told us his story (I don't remember it right now) called Cascada Velo de Novia.
We also visited the town of Jaji, a very picturesque town, we went to one of the businesses to buy handicrafts and my mom and husband used up all the Andean chicha that was in the place, not even Neither my daughter nor I liked it, we also visited many small towns.
Another of the incredible experiences I had in Mérida was having visited the Collado del Cóndor, formerly called the Pico del Águila, in this place the cold is much stronger even than the cable car, there I really felt as the cold got into my bones, hahahaha and we ate chocolates until we were tired to appease the cold a little, another day we visited the main market, we almost brought all the sweets that were in the place, that without counting all the boxes of handicrafts we brought.
Mérida is incredible, it has a lot to see, on one of the days we went out for a walk we visited Castillo San Ignacio, a hotel located in Mucuchies that is a beauty, I met the moment of the Nevado dog, the stone house, we also went to see the monument of Loca Luz Caraballo, as well as the monument of the 5 eagles.
We were able to go to a park called the mountain of dreams, an impressive place that only works at night, this park has the theme of recreating what the media were like in the past years, it is a place where the fun begins from the moment you enter there I dressed up as Igor and recorded a movie, we visited the old radio and television studios, there we dressed up as the 70s I participated in dance competitions, my daughter in a modeling, anyway we had a lot of fun.
Another day we visited the park called the Venezuela of the day before yesterday, an impressive park. We arrived there very early because the route is very long, so much so that it lasted all day. Juan Vicente Gómez himself received us there ( former president of Venezuela cataloged as a dictator), we visited throughout the day each state-by-state representation, I cannot deny it, this day was incredible, unfortunately I do not have at hand the photographs of this day.
Almost the last day they took us to visit the Mucubaji Lagoon, a magical place where the cold does its thing, it is an immense place, beautiful where we spent the whole day, I remember that Mr. Arturo told us that there was a place where we could fish the trout ourselves and so we did, after fishing them we took them to the restaurant where they prepared the trout in garlic sauce, by God this has been one of the worst things I have ever eaten in my life , at the first bite I felt the taste of mud in my mouth and none of the four of us liked it, that day we only ate the delicious Andean arepitas with cream, which were tasty, we spent the day walking, we enjoyed the impressive landscape that nature gave us, there the cold was also our faithful companion, and it made me laugh to see how the foreigners were unprotected, while we looked like terrorists hiding behind so many clothes, but it was an unforgettable day.
We spent two wonderful weeks in this place blessed by God, full of so many magical places to visit and I did visit almost all of them, but of course I want to go back and visit what we couldn't, for example the observatory that at that time was not open to the public due to remodeling, and I missed visiting a park called los aleros and the grandparents' inn, and I owe my family that debt, to be able to take them back to this place where we feel so good, this place without a doubt It has been the best place I have visited in my entire life, both inside and outside my country, every bit of this State was engraved in our minds, in our hearts, and I dream of the day when we can to return because if there is something that he enjoyed it is traveling and more if it is in the company of my family, how do we say, we are a chorizo and where one goes we all go, and that is how our trips have almost always been all together, except when n It was for work, I know the day is near when I can give my family this trip.
I want to be able to take them to enjoy, I want to travel with them because for me they are these little moments that life is made up of, they are these little moments that create the best memories for us, those that are tattooed in our minds as well as this trip that remained in our lives as something unique.

Hola, Mérida es de esos destinos que hay que estar varios días o semanas para poder disfrutar a pleno lo que ofrece, he tenido la oportunidad de ir y de visitar esos sitios, me causó gracia lo de tu hija, un viaje tan largo para comer un helado "normal" en la heladería con más sabores del mundo, yo recuerdo claramente uno de maíz con queso que me comí la ultima vez que fui, no estaba tan mal jajaja.
