I love celebrating my birthday, and who doesn't? August 12 was my birthday, so I'm officially 31 years old. It was a very special day at the beginning, but not so much at the end. More than the gifts I received, the best and most valuable thing was being surrounded by the people I love most in life.
I went in search of the cake the afternoon before. I'm not very picky when it comes to choosing them, but this year's was vanilla filled with chocolate, topped with caramel, purple meringue, truffles, and peanut bits. It looked quite tempting.
My day began with a beautiful marriage proposal, which I accepted without hesitation, along with a necklace with a blue heart and earrings in the same shape as a gift. My beautiful daughters prepared a delicious breakfast for me with the help of their grandmother. Other gifts included a personalized mug and glass, which were beautiful and I loved them, from my mom and my godmother. Some drawings from my little ones were also part of the surprise.
Just when I thought the surprises were over, my boyfriend arrived in the afternoon with some beautiful blue roses, which I love and are my favorites, a gesture that makes me fall in love all over again.
To end my birthday, we gathered at home and my family joined me to blow out the candle, although several relatives were unable to join me due to circumstances beyond their control. Luckily, they didn't come because it rained very hard, the electricity went out for a while, and came back on when it stopped raining.
Although the day didn't end as well as I had hoped, I felt very happy to have celebrated another year of life.

Me emociona cumplir años y, ¿A quién no? El pasado 12 de agosto estuve de cumpleaños así que oficialmente tengo 31 años, fue un día muy especial al inicio y al final no tanto, más que los presentes que recibí lo mejor y lo más valioso fue estar acompañada de las personas que más amo en la vida.

Mi día inicio con una hermosa propuesta de noviazgo a la que dije que sí sin dudarlo, además de una cadena con un corazón azul y zarcillos de la misma forma como regalo, mis hermosas hijas me prepararon un rico desayuno con ayuda de su abuela, otros detalles se hicieron presentes como una taza y un vaso personalizado, que estaban hermosos y me encantaron por parte de mi mamá y mi comadre, unos dibujos de mis pequeñas formaron parte de las sorpresa.
Cuando creía que las sorpresas se habían terminado mi novio llegó en la tarde con unas hermosas rosas azules, que me gustan muchísimo y son mis favoritas, un detalle que me enamora.
Para cerrar mi cumpleaños nos reunimos en casa y mi familia me acompañó a soplar la velita, aunque faltaron varios familiares por acompañarme por situaciones ajenas, menos mal que no lo hicieron porque llovió muy fuerte, la electricidad se fue un rato y volvió cuando dejó de llover.
Aunque el día no terminó tan bien como esperaba, yo me sentía muy feliz por cumplir un año más de vida.
