Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una salida a la playa que tuve con mis amigos de la universidad. Esto sucedió en diciembre, al salir de todas las evaluaciones pendientes de clases, pero justo antes de que cada uno se fuese a sus ciudades natales por las vacaciones decembrinas.
Resulta que a pesar de que seamos unidos y las ganas de reunirnos siempre estén presentes, a veces es difícil organizar y cuadrar una salida en la que todos estemos disponibles y tengamos las posibilidades de ir. Y creo que esto pasa en todo grupo de amigos: si un día puede uno, el otro no, si un día pueden todos, estamos full de clases... y así sucesivamente jajaja -risas-.
Sin embargo, desde que se acercaba el fin del semestre teníamos pensado en una salida distinta, y no simplemente una salida donde vamos a un lugar de noche a charlar y pasar el rato, esta vez queríamos algo quizás un poco más elaborado y fuera de la rutina, así que tuvimos la idea de ir a una isla. Decidimos ir a la isla llamada Punta La Cruz.

Today I want to share with you an outing to the beach that I had with my college friends. This happened in December, when we got out of all the pending class evaluations, but just before everyone went to their hometowns for the Christmas vacations.
It turns out that even though we are united and the desire to get together is always present, sometimes it is difficult to organize and schedule an outing in which we are all available and have the possibility to go. And I think this happens in every group of friends: if one day one can, the other can't, if one day everyone can, we are full of classes... and so on hahaha -laughs-.
However, since the end of the semester was approaching we had thought of a different outing, and not just an outing where we go to a place at night to chat and hang out, this time we wanted something perhaps a little more elaborate and out of the routine, so we had the idea of going to an island. We decided to go to the island called Punta La Cruz.
No sé si han escuchado eso que dicen que "las mejores cosas pasan sin planificar tanto", pues creo que eso nos ocurrió a mi y a mi grupo de amigos... Esta vez, simplemente dijimos con anticipación que la salida a la playa iba porque iba, era una salida divertida que nos merecíamos por terminar clases, así que solo establecimos la fecha y listo. Dos días antes de la fecha, ya el compromiso estaba hecho, no podíamos faltar, así que entre cada uno nos pusimos a afinar los detalles de logística, es decir, comida y transporte, pues sabemos que en la playa las comidas suelen ser un poco más caras.
Nos organizamos, y entre todos transferimos dinero a ciertas personas que se encargaron de comprar las cosas. Unos compraron las bebidas y refrescos, otros las chucherías para comer en la playa, mis amigas y yo compramos sandwich y atún, y preparamos unos ricos emparedados para compartir en la playa, y otros llevaron salsas para untar y galletas. Con todo esto, teníamos para compartir y gozar de la playita.
En cuanto a la ida a la playa, para poder ir a esta isla se debe tomar un botecito en una zona de Anzoátegui llamada Pamatacualito, (siempre nos reímos al nombrarlo), y esta zona se encuentra un poco distante de la ciudad como tal, así que nos tomó aproximadamente 20 min de carretera para llegar a este sitio. Nos fuimos en caravana, bueno, tres carros en total, uno detrás de otro. Llegamos al sitio, donde nos estacionamos y dejamos aparcado el carro mientras nosotros nos dirigíamos a la zona de embarque de los botes.
El costo por persona eran 3 dólares, y el barco sale con 12 personas, nosotros eramos 9, así que decidimos pagar los puestos restantes y salir de una vez a la isla y así disfrutar más tiempo de la playa.
Mientras embarcábamos y terminábamos de pagar, un perrito del muelle se acerco al bote y también se montó jajajaja, luego no sabíamos como sacarlo, fue muy tierno y divertido.
I don't know if you've heard that saying that "the best things happen without planning so much", well I think that happened to me and my group of friends.... This time, we simply said in advance that the trip to the beach was going because it was going, it was a fun outing that we deserved for finishing classes, so we just set the date and that was it. Two days before the date, the commitment was already made, we could not miss it, so between each one of us we started to fine tune the logistical details, i.e. food and transportation, because we know that on the beach meals are usually a little more expensive.
We organized ourselves, and between all of us we transferred money to certain people who were in charge of buying things. Some bought drinks and sodas, others bought snacks to eat on the beach, my friends and I bought sandwiches and tuna, and prepared some delicious sandwiches to share on the beach, and others brought sauces and cookies. With all this, we had enough to share and enjoy the beach.
As for going to the beach, in order to go to this island you have to take a little boat in an area of Anzoátegui called Pamatacualito, (we always laugh at the name), and this area is a bit distant from the city as such, so it took us about 20 min of road to get to this place. We went by caravan, well, three cars in total, one after the other. We arrived at the site, where we parked and left the car parked while we drove to the boat boarding area.
The cost per person was 3 dollars, and the boat leaves with 12 people, we were 9, so we decided to pay the remaining seats and leave at once to the island and enjoy more time on the beach.
While we were boarding and finished paying, a little dog from the dock approached the boat and also got on it hahahaha, then we did not know how to get him off, it was very cute and funny.
Una vez que lo logramos, empezó la travesía por la inmensidad del mar, y entre azules y la mejor compañía de nuestras amistades, nos dirigíamos a nuestro destino a disfrutar. Fueron 15 min de trayecto, donde las risas, los cuentos, los chistes y los cantos no faltaron, pero el mar, a pesar de ser temprano (11:00 am) estaba un poco picado, y el barco se movía de un lado a otro, así que un poco de nervios tampoco faltaron jejejeje.
Llegamos a nuestro destino, y comenzamos a disfrutar aún más. Al bajarnos del bote, establecimos la hora de retorno. Todo estaba cuadrado, el señor nos pasaría buscando a las 4:00 pm.
Así que, el resto de la mañana fue puro disfrute del sol, la arena y la playa. Nadamos, nos reímos, tomamos sol, y volvimos a reir. Sinceramente, no hay nada como compartir con nuestros amigos más queridos la recarga de buenas energías es impresionante. Espero que este plan se repita muy pronto.
Once we made it, we started the journey through the immensity of the sea, and among the blues and the best company of our friends, we headed to our destination to enjoy. It was a 15 minute ride, where laughter, stories, jokes and songs were not lacking, but the sea, despite being early (11:00 am) was a little choppy, and the boat was moving from one side to another, so a little nervousness was not lacking either hehehehehe.
We arrived at our destination, and began to enjoy ourselves even more. When we got off the boat, we set the time to return. Everything was set, the gentleman would pick us up at 4:00 pm.
So, the rest of the morning was pure enjoyment of the sun, sand and beach. We swam, laughed, sunbathed, and laughed again. Honestly, there is nothing like sharing with our dearest friends the recharge of good energies is awesome. I hope this plan will be repeated very soon.
