Hello Hive

I hope these meet you well?, Some days ago one of my clients approach me that he'll love to build a Slippers for his girlfriend as a gift for the valentine💝, to celebrate this love season. I was kind of surprised and taken aback because his alleged girlfriend(who happen to be my coursemate during my undergraduate days) also ask me to make him some nice as well, so I decided not to tell any of them about what the other as done, since I passive it was meant to be a surprise.

So today I'll be sharing the process of how I made these☝️ gorgeous female slippers

PROCESS

Building the insole and sole

Cutting, sewing and fixing the buckles on the slippers upper

Greasing the slippers upper and insole with gum, and test fitting it on a shoe last

Scrapping the edges of the sole and applying gum to both the back of the insole and the sole

Joining the slippers upper to the sole, and apply the finishing gum, to achieve a smooth and perfect job

And here is the outcome

After getting through with the girlfriend slippers, I'm hoping I'm be less engaged to snap and capture how I'll built that of the boyfriend too, so I can share it with you.
