¡THE EXCELLENCE OF THE WORD OF GOD!

This psalm is truly a work of art a poem exquisitely written to highlight the excellence of the word of God in all its essence and the psalmist who was passionate about God poetically and skillfully describes the word of divine revelation of "the law" to Sometimes called "commandments" "statutes" "judgments" and so sublimely begins words with "Blessed."

Psalm 119
Blessed are the perfect on the way,
Those who walk in the law of Jehovah.
2 Blessed are those who keep his testimonies,
And with all their hearts they seek him;
3 For they do no iniquity
Those who walk in his ways.
4 You commissioned
May your commandments be closely kept.
5 I wish my ways were ordered
To keep your statutes!
6 Then I would not be ashamed,
When I heed all your commandments.
7 I will praise you with upright heart
When I learn your just judgments.
8 Your statutes I will keep;
Don't leave me entirely.

The word "blessed" gives the key to all the rest of the poem since its meaning is to imply that the only key to happiness is to fulfill the will of God as it is revealed in the word because by it we adore God and we have understood God's plan and purpose for our lives.

The word of God highlights that there is not even one perfect but only God but it also tells us that blessed are those who walk in Jehovah's law because they walk in the perfect way because we understand that when we walk in God we walk in perfection because we seek the perfect one and we walk in his truth as we seek him with all our hearts.

Here is the real key to this psalm "those who seek him with all their hearts" it is assumed that if someone seeks God from the heart he will also keep his commandments and walk in an upright heart and his foot will not stumble with evil.

That is why walking with God is the best decision in life that anyone could have chosen, learning from his holy judgment makes the path perfect and brings freedom to the soul.

Incline the heart to God is as important as feeding the body and receiving oxygen, we need to walk in his truth, we need to keep his word and put it into action and above all keep it in our hearts as a precious treasure.
