THE MADNESS OF NOT TRUSTING GOD
Isaiah 31: 1-3
31! Woe to those who descend to Egypt for help, and trust horses; and their hope they put in cars, because they are many, and in riders, because they are brave; and they do not look to the Holy One of Israel, nor do they seek Jehovah!
2 But he is also wise, and will bring evil, and will not withdraw his words. He will rise, then, against the house of the wicked, and against the help of those who do iniquity.
3 And the Egyptian men are, and not God; and his horses flesh, and not spirit; so that when Jehovah extends his hand, the helper will fall and the help will fall, and all of them will faint to one.

The world is full of people who get involved in problems by using illegitimate means to achieve legitimate ends because they have their trust in man, governments, wealth, power, fame, earthly kings, kingdoms that have an end among others and live their excited lives. and disappointed.
Also on occasion the people of God have tried to use methods that God would never approve which leads them to make alliances that leads them to failure.
In this sense the aforementioned verses describe the lament of those people who seek help in the men or the rudiments of this world and place their trust in them without considering the God of Israel, Jehovah of the Army.
The madness of not believing in God leads man to trust anyone or something because his nature is to believe in his creator but since he does not know his own nature then they seek gods among themselves to trust and idolize the power of the world.
However, there is a warning from God for that rebellious and disobedient people of regret about the conclusion of an alliance with the world and its kingdoms.

God will do justice because God's plan is for his people to be devoted to him and express his devotion and seek him wholeheartedly so that he can rely on his power.
