Dear brothers and sisters in Christ

Today the Golden Censer has given me a verse from the Gospel of Saint Matthew in which he describes one of the words pronounced by Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount, in which he gives me Beatitude 3: "Blessed are the meek because they will inherit the Earth". This fragment of the Gospel calls me to reflect on what should guide us Christians in which our behavior must be in line with the teachings of Jesus regarding our dedication to the service of others in thanksgiving and praise to the Father Heavenly.

In these days of pandemic, the contribution that each of us makes to society becomes more imperative, we must be messengers of peace and reconciliation of the Lord, guiding people towards the values of prayer, listening and meditation on the word of God and promote the work of the church in the communities especially the most neglected.

Examples of blessed people who received for their conduct in serving the poor is Mother Teresa, who showed us that even with few resources the work of the Lord can be extended to all nations.

We must be confident in the Lord's help in these times of difficulty and restlessness, His healing hand will give us support so that we can fulfill his mandate to be better every day if we manifest repentance in our lives and leave selfishness to be able to aspire to goods promised by Him.

I pray for the families that currently have sick people or have suffered the loss of a loved one so that the Lord may relieve them of their difficulties and receive the message of life of the risen Christ.
