Luke 5:5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. 5:6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.
God specializes in big time projects.When He gets involved with whatever concerns His children,you can be sure He's going to raise the bar. He can do for you more than your imagination can fathom. Simon peter,a professional fisherman in the bible had been toiling all night trying to do what is was trained to do.Jesus got involved and said,"launch out and let your nets down for a catch". I'm sure Simon Peter's first thought was "This was my job, i know the way things work".Wisdom however guided him to obey the master and he got the biggest catch of his life.
It hurts the lord when His children chase after things from sun up till down,whereas with one " God-opportunity ",that thing they desire will fall right into their lap with much more. When you cry about your needs,the Lord says,"I have the cattle on a thousand hills. All the silver and gold is mine. Why are you crying about this little thing?" You may have had many disappointments but the lord says," i will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten (Joel 2:25).
One "God-opportunity" can cover all the disappointments of the last ten years.
What's that thing you're involved in today?I want to let you know that if the master cared enough about Simon peter then He also cares about you.When Jesus spoke,fishes came forth and navigated to Simon's net. Don't you think He can get you hooked up as well?so you see,all you need is one "God-opportunity".Fix your gaze on His word, trust him and remember that the Holy Spirit has come into life to give you supernatural favour.
