Devotion Today: Perfection in Weakness

in HeartChurch4 years ago

2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

At the point of weakness, after an intense struggle, the power of God is needed.

Thus, to harness the presence of God in a state of helplessness, the grace of God must rescue us.

The grace of God is the empowerment to do the naturally impossible things.

When the human strength fails, God's grace is sufficient to carry us to our destination.

His strength is not perfected as long as we can do it our way. His strength does not compete with our intelligence.

God's strength manifests in the domain of man's vulnerability, that all glory shall be unto God.

Are you struggling to come out of that situation, but you have exhausted your strategies?

Yield to the Holy Spirit today. He's able to strengthen the weak and deliver the helpless.

Don't allow your frustration drive you from God's grace. The grace is still sufficient.

Let's pray together.
Dear Lord, thank you for your grace and strength in our lives. Please help us more and more, as we rely on you for another miracle, in Jesus name. Amen.
