Ephesians 4:17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

There's a call for separation, coming from the throne of grace. The Almighty God is specific in His instruction against the "do like everyone" attitude.

Others might seem to do it and get away with it, but the Lord says: don't do like them.

It's critically important because we live in an era where evil, wickedness, immorality and falsehood is seen as a normal thing.

It has gotten to the point that at times if you walk away without giving in, you are regarded as a fool.

But there's a place in Christ where evil or wickedness can't thrive. This is a place of holiness, truth and righteousness. A place of sanctification, where Jesus dwells and this place is in our hearts.

As we abide in Christ, we should equally allow Him abide in us.

Let go of the old way of the flesh, the lust and the pride thereof. Depart from the company of the ungodly, for you are chosen to be special to Christ.

It's okay to stand alone physically but remember Christ is always with you. It's okay to be seen as old school. It's okay to be mocked. Never do things like those that kick against your place in Christ.
If there's anything you should hold on tightly, Jesus is the one. In the world there's vanities and evil mindsets, don't walk in it.

Let's pray together.
Thank you Father for your fatherly instruction to us today. Please help us to be separated unto you completely, in Jesus name. Amen.
