James 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
The grace of God is sufficient for those that have chosen to surrender all to Jesus.
A life of humility is an amazing qualification for the outpouring of God's grace. The grace to stay holy, remain healthy, become wealthy, win souls, preach the gospel and make heaven are all a reward for humility of the heart.
Brethren, we brought nothing into this world and we shall take nothing out when we die.
The simplicity of God's ability to end our stay on earth is enough to keep us humble, for the physical existence of a man on earth is just a privilege, not a right.
The Almighty is the only one that can take us out of this world and nobody can take Him to court for doing so.
Let us not incur God's resistance through a prideful lifestyle. If God should give you political power or abundant wealth what will you do with it?
The thought of intimidating people with your affluence or afflicting others with your power is prideful and God resist those that live with such mindset.
This is why the wicked dies and nobody remembers them, for their days were spent in pride.
Take a look at your life today, which area have you allowed pride to come in! You can make it right today, for there's grace to do exploits. All we need is humility of the heart.
