Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
The world system presents a broad gate of comfort and convenience before us. But the more comfort we seek, the more derailed we are from the presence of God and the power of His grace.
On this premise, the Holy Spirit, today admonishes us, in a way of caution: CHOOSE THE STRAIGHT GATE.
The straight gate leads to life, but it's a lifestyle of no compromise. We have been called into a life of honesty, righteousness and oneness with Christ at all cost.
Brethren, the life of God is not found in cheating others to have more, sidelining others or pulling down others to have more favour.
We can appear as saints before people, but with God there's no hiding place from our mess. We must go through the straight gate of His holiness and dwell in His presence, then shall our place in Christ shall be guaranteed.
There's destruction in the wide gate presented by the devil through the instrumentation of the world system. The chaos around leads to destruction for those that choose pleasure over the way of righteousness.
There's life for those that choose to let go of the pleasure and serve God till the end. You shall be persecuted, wrongly accused and misunderstood, but focus on Christ the author of your faith.
Jesus will never accuse you and you are answerable to Him eternally. Beware and choose a life in Christ today.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the straight gate of eternal life you made available to us in Christ. Please deliver us from the influence of this world system, help us to stay steadfast till the end, in Jesus name. Amen.
