1 Corinthians 3:19"
[19]For what this world considers to be wisdom is nonsense in God's sight. As the scripture says, “God traps the wise in their cleverness”
If you want to be successful in life,then you must obey and adhere to God's wisdom. The wisdom we are talking about is the word of God. Heroes of faith we do read in the Bible today followed God's Word and they were successful in all they did.
For instance, Joshua documented remarkable victories for the children of Israel because he obyed God's instructions and walked according to God's will. (Joshua 8:1-22).
Isaac also followed God's instruction when he was instructed not to migrate to Egypt during the time of Famine in Gerar. God who knows all things advised Isaac to stay in the land where the famine was hiting hard and farm there. (Genesis 26:2-4).
Because Isaac knew the dignity it was to adhere and obey the Almighty God, he interrupted not and remain in the land of Gerar. At last, we recognized that God later blessed that land because of Isaac obedient and made that area productive again.
This is to show you that God's wisdom and the way He does His own things are different that no one can comprehend. It is always a joy-giving at end if you follow God's instructions even when they don't appeal to human reasoning.
Carefully observe what God did for isaac when he obeyed God and stayed in the Gerar's land been impoverished by famine.
Genesis 26:12-14
''[12]Isaac sowed seed in that land, and that year he harvested a hundred Times as much as he had sown, because the Lord blessed him.
[13]He continued to prosper and became a very rich man.
[14]Because he had many herds of sheep and cattle and many servants, the Philistines were jealous of him."
Certainly, you may involve your own wisdom when dealing with life but following God's will should be your first step. Function and walk in the lord's wisdom and understanding. Follow the instructions of the Holy Spirit in your life and you will be victorious.

True. The Bible said, by their fruits you shall know them. The flocks know their Shepherd and the shepherd knows his flocks.
