We fear for the future, we fear for our children, for our families, for the economy of our nation, for the pandemic that really strikes us. All this is a present reality that is with us day by day. However, in this situation we must take a positive attitude and believe in the promises of God who is the only one who can help us in these times of crisis.
The word of God advises us the following:
Philippians 4: 6-7
“Don't worry about anything; rather, on every occasion, with prayer and supplication, present your requests to God and give thanks. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will take care of your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. ”
(RVR1960)
This is one of the most beautiful promises in the Bible for those who believe "not worry about anything" not fear in the face of adversity but rather seek the presence of God with prayer and supplication.
Did you know that the bible mentions "fear not" 365 times? This means that every day of the year God says to you son "do not fear" because I am your God
Isaiah 41:13
“For I am the Lord, your God, who holds your right hand; I am the one who says to you: "Do not fear, I will help you."
(RVR1960)
Mastering fears is not easy on our own, that is, with our strength, but if we do it by making the decision to believe in God and in his promises, if we believe that he is our God and sustains our lives, we will overcome that fear that constantly afflicts us. and it depresses us
God is a specialist in changing situations from evil to good because he really loves us so much that day by day he pours out his mercy for everyone.
It is for this reason that if he promised to take care of us to help us in the midst of adverse situations we have to believe it because it is certainly this that can alleviate our attitude in times of crisis
