He that hath no rule over his spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls _ PROVERBS 25:28
In ancient times, the walls around a city was very important, because, it protected the city from its enemies coming in for war.
But, what happens when the protecting fence around the city is broken down?
Robbers can have their way to that city
Enemies can attack that city, fight with it and defeat it.
This is likened to a person who gets angry easily, who doesn't have a rule over his spirit. He is like a city without walls.
The devil can use such a fellow at any time for his destructive works, because he is vulnerable.
Self-control is one the fruits of the spirit we should pray to have as Christians, so we don't bring shame to our Lord and King by our loosed actions.
No dey let small thing vex you!
Begin surprise people say, you no fit vex when dem the expect!
If small thing dey vex you, please change and ask God for help, because these kind of persons are usually tools in the devil's hand.
We represent Christ here and we are supposed to live like Him.
If Christ Jesus dey vex for us anyhow, where we for dey?
