Everyone needs money, even Christian needs money for their daily expenses. In as much as every perishable item is gotten with money; we all need money.
Money is an essential commodity for daily living. Money can be well utilized by Christians to meet their daily needs, especially with respect to supporting the work of God. However, due to its usefulness and multitude of things that it can obtain, a Christian has to exercise self-control continually, always keep money in its place, which is, "An instrument; a servant".

But when your interest in money to provide for the necessities of life changes into a consuming desire to be rich or to acquire things beyond your needs, the money will cease to be your instrument, your servant. Instead, it will become your master! It now becomes a snare (Matt.6:24)

The scripture does not preach against nor condemn riches or wealth; it condemns your becoming a slave to it. Why? because when your covetous desire for material gain becomes so great that you become its slave, you no longer have God as your master.
You begin to love and worship money and not God. Money takes over and you cannot then "love your God with your all heart and with your all soul and with all your mind" (Matt. 22:37)

The and quest for money has led to numerous bloodshed, it leads to frustration, heartache, pains etc.
This was the case of Achan, Ananias, and Sapphira, Judas Iscariot who allowed money to become their master, they became slaves to riches.
God's word does not condemn one for having an abundance of this world's goods. Acknowledging the fact that some were rich in His day.

There is a limit to how much one can eat and wear. Whatever we have we should be contented. We should focus more on advancing the kingdom of God and not earthly possessions that are perishable. Why store up wealth for a time that may never come for you?. Why store up treasures in a world that is passing away?.
Make money your servant, an instrument, not your master.
Do not give money a chance to Lord over your life. Take full control of your riches and make the best out of it.

REMAIN BLESSED!
