I've been spending thousands of hours in playgrounds in my life, playing soccer, basketball and now making lightpainting sessions. For me, a playground is the perfect place to unleash creativity and express yourself.
When I first saw this playground, I instantly thought it would be a great location to score a couple of long range three-pointers like Stephen Curry. At second sight, at night, I thought about a camera rotation job combined with lens cap trick and abstract light-calligraphy after a tripod swap : nothing more, nothing less^^
For that one, I worked with 2 tripods :
The big one for the kinetic phase, using the stainless steel structure, a powerful flashlight and a piece of black cardboard to cap/uncap the lens,
The small one for the calligraphic part, with two RGB LED stripes monted on aluminum rods like light sabers and a simple green LED.
I first worked with the steel rods to draw the pattern I imagined for the background of my picture then I capped the lens, moved my camera to the second tripod without ending the exposure and removed the cap to resume my long exposure, by drawing the abstract light-calligraphy and then I ended caption.

J'ai passé des milliers d'heures de ma vie sur les city-stades, à jouer au football, au basket-ball et maintenant à faire des séances de lightpainting. Pour moi, un city-stade est l'endroit idéal pour libérer la créativité et s'exprimer.
Lorsque j'ai vu ce terrain de jeu pour la première fois, j'ai immédiatement pensé que ce serait un endroit idéal pour me prendre pour Stephen Curry et marquer quelques tirs trois points longue distance. Au second regard, la nuit, j'ai pensé à une rotation d'appareil photo combinée avec une calligraphie abstraite après un changement de trépied: ni plus, ni moins ^^
Pour ce cliché, j'ai donc travaillé avec 2 trépieds:
Le grand pour la phase "cinétique", utilisant la structure en acier inoxydable, une lampe de poche puissante et un morceau de carton noir pour cacher/décacher l'objectif,
Le petit pour la partie "calligraphique", avec deux bandes de DELs RGB montées des tiges en aluminium comme des sabres laser et une simple DEL verte.
J'ai d'abord travaillé avec les barres en acier pour dessiner le motif que j'avais imaginé pour le fond de ma photo puis j'ai masqué l'objectif, déplacé mon appareil photo sur le deuxième trépied sans arrêter l'exposition puis enlevé le capuchon pour reprendre ma pose longue, en dessinant la calligraphie lumineuse abstraite et enfin stoppé la pose longue.

No layers /no Photoshop / no editing except minor adjustments (lens correction profite, WB, contrast (+12)) and addition of my logo.
Lightpainting créé en temps réel, capturé par l'appareil photo lors d'une seule et unique exposition photographique.
Pas de calques / pas de Photoshop / pas de retouche sauf des ajustements mineurs (patch correctif de l'objectif, balance des blancs, contraste (+12)) et ajout de mon logo.
