Hello Hive-Community,
while the weather is not particularly inviting for an outdoor session, I built my own spaceship.
"Hello Mr Musk I am ready for a mission to Mars." 🤣 🚀
For this shot I used three tripods and two lenses.
Part 1:
Sigma 28-70 mm @46mm, f/5 | ISO 100 | Camera Rotation for the Stars in the background.
Part 2:
Swapped tripod and lens to Samyang 14 mm f/7.1 for the "Spaceship" (Camera Rotation)
Part 3:
Samyang 14 mm f/2.8 for the orange smoke done with the Lightpainters Ryu´s Lightwork wonder torch.
For the on-board laser gun, I used a green laser from Lightpainting Paradise @f/10
For me personally, the third part was the most difficult and it took a few attempts to achieve a usable result.
The image was taken in several steps, during a longexposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.
Total exposure time: 617 sec.
Since the travel time to Mars is about 7 months, I would like to start soon. Who is up for a light painting session on Mars? 😉
Wish you all a strong week
Stepko 😎
What is Camera Rotation?
