Onboard rally video of the day - Mads Ostberg with Ford Fiesta WRC at Rally Mexico

in Rallylast year

Hi, friends!

Years pass by very quickly and that's why we have our time to live it the best that we can, nothing else. It's been ten years from the time when Norwegian Mads Ostberg was very promising driver who started to drive for someone else then for his father's team called Adapta Motorsport.

He started with Subaru Impreza WRC cars because his father Morten Ostberg used to drive them in the Norwegian national championship. When Mads was old enough, he started his motorsport career driving his father's cars.

Later, when he became a professional, he firstly started to drive for M-Sport with their Ford Fiesta WRC and I am not sure that he didn't pay for that drive.

It is a shame when team owners see that someone has a budget behind themselves and then only look for that money to be a paying drive. That's a shame of today's motorsport. Drivers risk their lives (if we will be sincere about this) and then they are asked a money for a drive. Professionals should be paid, nothing more to add.

Mads Ostberg had a stint with Citroen after M-Sport drive and he once revealed that that was the only time when he was paid as a driver. Shame on the team owners.

Here we have an onboard rally video from ten years ago and the rally is same as this weekend drive - WRC Rally Mexico.

Please enjoy and learn from Norwegian... :)
