Eight-time World Rally champion Seb Ogier revealed his plans for entering next round of WRC in Croatia, which is also a first full tarmac event of the championship.
That's why he was pushing massively to win the Power Stage in Mexico and take the championship lead because leader always open the roads on first day of the new WRC rally.
On gravel it is a disadvantage to open the rally because of the cleaning but on the tarmac surface, it is quite opposite and it is good to be first on the road because only then the tarmac is clean of no cutting.
Every other car on the special stage has dirtier road then before so that is the biggest problem for the late starters (we should be one of them).
So Seb Ogier will be with his Toyota Yaris Rally1 on the special stages in Croatia but he already revealed that he won't be present in Portugal which is the very first round after the Croatian event.
We still don't know what is behind in his program but he ruled out any possibility of a return on the full tine bases. He leads the championship right now and what can be better for him in sport then this?!

Great rally - not surprised by Ogier win - huge drama on day 1 - love the battles!! Felt really bad for EP though….
